And still these idiots will only credit CM Punk only… *cough cough IWC cough cough*

    • Deante320

Yeah you got no choice but to give the man (Cena) his due. This also show that WWE need to give Cena more free reigns on his ring work. He’s better than other people’s expectations.

They limit his move set way too much, like i know it PG but 5 moves??!!! thats it!!!!!????

        • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_4OF2JDUTXED6KFOPHEVMJ2ZYBA raVen

          classic wwe main event style.
hogan did it. austin did it. rock. taker.
cena gets the bad wrap cause he does them at the same time in the same order every match but name one guy that doesn’t do the same 5 moves every match

          • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=732542390 Donte Shoshona Gopual

that true but he doesnt have any offense during his matches
like if i was a booker and you were my top guy i would have most of youe matches 50/50 or 60/40 you but with cena they make him win with 30/70 offense

    • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_4OF2JDUTXED6KFOPHEVMJ2ZYBA raVen

watch the match punk clearly called it from start to finish.
all cena did was botch a frankensteiner and do his super cena gimmick

      • Themanwithnoname

*Sighs* dude. Cena was just as good as punk in that match. He impressed even his haters with his performance. As for the frankensteiner, well he a big bulkly guy so of course it wasn’t going to look perfect. But the very fact that he tried it.(combined with the fact that he agreed to a pile driver even though he as a history with neck problems) proved that he has the balls to change things .:P

        • Themanwithnoname

          *up once and a while

        • Joe Hawkins

A true hater wouldn’t and doesn’t REALLY respect John Cena for getting away with:
Harming, insulting, antagonizing, offending, lying to and about people in WWE as well as all of those not in WWE——- and offending, as well as totally f**king disrespecting A LOT of the haters, fans and WWE Superstars/Divas/Annonuncers, etc…..just exactly as and like he has always done. Like who??
          People such as:

          Randy Orton
          Wade Barrett
          Triple H
          C.M. Punk
          Brock Lesnar
          Vickie Guerrero
          Eve Torres

          Zack Ryder
          Mark Henry
          The Rock
          Ryback aka Skip Sheffield
          Kenny Dykstra
          Josh Matthews
          Michael Cole

It was a great match. I was hoping we would see a Wrestlemania swerve and see CM Punk vs. The Rock and John Cena vs The Undertaker. But I knew that was only a dream.

  • Spike_Spiegel

I really wasnt expecting the match to be that good but it was definitely a ppv guality match. These two just bring out the best in each other.

Lousy main event. Not cool. The only historical thing they REALLY accomplished was make WWE even less entertaining than ever before.

A great beginning and an even better ending to the show. The Road To Wrestlemania is always one of my favorite times of the year in wrestling.

CM Punk + Cena = Money

    • mrchopper

CM Punk + Cena = Awesome Match. Rock + Cena = Money.

  • http://www.facebook.com/jeremycounty Jeremy-County Roberts

I have no idea why people are going nuts over Cenas two new “moves”. A hurricanrana and a power bomb are moves that every wrestler should know how to do. I think Punk made that match good. I thinking Dolph has been teaching Punk how to sell in that ring,

    • http://www.facebook.com/jervaughn.stewart Jervaughn Stewart

Yeah it’s mainly over the fact, that a lot of people were crazy enough to believe cena only had five moves so it shocked them when he showed that he can do more.

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=732542390 Donte Shoshona Gopual

Were not surprised that he can pull off the moves but we’re surprised that this was in a raw match. And I for one am happy that everyone know that john cena isnt a mediocre wrestler hes actually pretty good……… just can’t sell……..

  • TrueFan

As many have said, and as I said yesterday – This match was amazing, and I can’t understand for the life of me, why so many idiots hate on Cena. Cena is a top guy who STILL CAN surprise anyone when need be. Going strong for 10 straight years with only breaks off for surgeries and NEVER injuries, what more can one do? For all the people that get “bored” of Cena/Punk feuds, like I said, those two ALWAYS put on a 5 star match better than 3/4 of the whole locker room, it’s never boredom, those two have some of the best feud chemistry in the business. For everyone saying Cena is a terrible and boring wrestler, he is damn good for being a very bulky guy. Both Punk and Cena pulled moves that “we the people” haven’t seen in a very long time (or at least didn’t look generic but a great treat none-the-less).

Rock/Cena II, I think will not be as good as a Cena/Punk match, because although Rock is in good ring shape, is not on the level as Cena or Punk. Do I think it will still be a great match though? Absolutely, we can expect a back and fourth battle like we seen last night, and last year at Wrestlemania.

Plug-in to @7yearoldboy:disqus I agree… the IWC are bunch of morons who stick together and develop hate bandwagons and always ALWAYS think they know everything inside and out about the company(ies). the IWC are like the KKK’s of Wrestling “fans”

    • Oreial

so true man they are like the kkk, haha good one bro

      • BubbleGumChic

The IWC smarks aren’t like the KKK. And calling them that isn’t funny. Nor is it entertaining. Because it’d mean that you, myself and other people are being labeled as racist.
        That’s f**king wrong, bullish*t and stereotyping people.

    • Pixie

People don’t exactly HATE on Cena……they just hate him for being allowed to get away with saying and doing and behaving badly without any repercussions or negative consequences to him for doing this stuff to so many for so long.
Even if Cena did get any injuries…perhaps people would feel he deserved them so that’s why they might not be sympathetic toward or for him. Due to feeling extremely angry with Cena for always being able to get his own way and not being considerate of or caring about the needs, feelings or emotions of others.
Claiming that John Cena and C.M. Punk always put on five star matches is a complete lie.
But 7/8 of the entire WWE Raw and SmackDown locker room are able to and definitely do put on much more entertaining matches than those two do.
Cena isn’t very good in the ring insofar as in ring moves and just because he’s a guy who is large boned doesn’t make him a better person or athlete than say….a woman would be.

Uh, you’re bad mouthing the IWC smarks. You’re an IWC smark. I’ll tell you what. Since the IWC smarks do feel stressed out and maybe that’s why they do at times say mean things about people in WWE on internet forums, message/comment boards….and they do stick together. Which, I can understand.
They’re NOT the KKK’s of Pro Wrestling fans! They do tend to be extremely opinionated and if they don’t choose to change their minds about something or someone they won’t. It’s that simple.

The IWC do tend to contribute good ideas for storylines and character development. However, calling them names is also disrespectful and unfair. Because, they have feelings and emotions too. Insulting them won’t get you respect. It’ll just get you more problems.

If anyone is insulting the IWC smarks it’s John Cena. That’s wrong for him to do.

Saying that IWC smarks always think they know everything about pro wrestling, while calling them moronic…..DOESN’T MAKE SENSE!!!!

  • Harry

great Cena gets everything again… And WWE is suprised that more and more fans are going over to TNA…

    • Deante320

Oh stop. I not a Cena fan but I respect what he did Monday and so does everybody else. Oh and FYI the reason people goes to TNA isn’t because of Cena. It’s because of those of those people not being used, done some stupid shit or didn’t cut it so they try their hand in TNA.

      • Smith

Yeah I’m a huge Punk fan and I HATE Cena but I still respect what he did on Monday. It was a great match. Yeah I’m disipointed but I’m sure Punk will end up being the one to win the title from Cena in like 5 months after Mania. Harry is just an idiot.

  • TheShowOff

Please.. Silence critics?? Worst hurricanrana ever!!!!.. He’s lucky he didnt break his neck or injure punk.. Punk delivers his finishing moves and other brutal moves and Super Cena is up 5 seconds later.. Yes good match, but Cena is still over rated little boys.

    • GMpunk

Thank you for your irrelevant opionion! I’m sure that if you weighed 250 you’d be busting off perfect hurricanranas all day..

      • thshowoff

That’s not the point troll. Lesnar almost broke his neck on a shooting star press. If you cant do it dont put yourself or others in danger. But you probably dont know of that match since your a cena mark and probably 12 years old. I’m sure Mommy and Daddy feed you well and your already at 250lbs. so you try the perfect hurricanrana.

        • GMpunk

Well I guess you’re not old enough to remember Lesnar hitting shooting star presses in OVW.. but I digress. I like CM Punk a lot more than Cena but it has nothing to do with ability Cena has shown time and time again that when matched up with superior wrestlers (Punk, Michaels, Jericho, etc.) He can do more than just hang. I just don’t care for his stale good guy gimmick! And futhermore, I’m not 12 years old or a troll, you’re just an ignoramus.

          • Sixxstring1

            You’re Welcome!

  • http://www.facebook.com/ldozier3 Lorenzo Dozier

The chemistry between the 2 actually almost matched up to the level of their money in the bank match back in 2011. If they were to fight one more time, let it be at WrestleMania or an iron man match.

  • lemonz

Woah! Ezekiel Jackson is still in WWE?
This match was Wrestlemania worthy in my opinion. It had everything, if only the crowd were to lighten up a bit, it would be on the spot.

  • GMpunk

Punk and Cena always seem to have great matches together remember that perfect match at Money in the Bank in 2011? But Cena vs Rock was average and I though Punk vs Rock was awful. Hmmmmmm makes you wonder who should be champion..

  • Marko

There were a lot of matches between these two but after seeing this, screw Rock vs Cena 2 I want Cena vs Punk to be a Wrestlemania match.

    • Sixxstring1

  • wwetnadudez

Say what you will about Cena but when he is with the right opponent the guy really shines, respect for trying to do a freakin hurricanrana.

  • shooka4768

I can’t lie that was a great match, its no doubt Cena did good,You can’t hate on Cena for what he does in the ring, sure he has 5 moves (maybe 8 after raw lol) but he can still put on a good match,The IWC feel hating on Cena is “Cool” so they do it,I respect him but I dislike his character only

    • Skinhead girl

the IWC can hate on Cena for what he does in and out of the ring. They tend to do that you know. The IWC don’t hate on John Cena because it’s cool. They do it because they don’t like him or his inner character. He’s screwed up but still hasn’t had to pay for it in such a way that would satisfy them. Or me.

  • http://twitter.com/PennyUndead Roger Penland

i was very pleased with the Cena/Punk match myself. it was awesome, in my opinion. the powerbomb, hurricanrana, and piledriver is what Ezekiel Jackson said it was, reminded me of why i’m a fan.

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_4OF2JDUTXED6KFOPHEVMJ2ZYBA raVen

all credit to CM Punk he was clearly calling the whole match.
now it was a fantastic match but it’s sad that when we see a piledriver, powerbomb, and frankensteiner in a match we get this excited.
remember when those were moves every wrestler had and used?
remember the likes of dean malenko, ultimo dragon, chris benoit????
this just shows how much vince holds these gys back, for good reason, and how much better wrestling could be week in and week out

    • GMpunk

Yeah Punk was totally carrying John Cena through that entire match.. that was sarcasm by the way.

  • http://twitter.com/StrayXPunk Orestis

    I was like -.- when i read matt striker’s tweet…
