WWE vs NJPW Match Announced for Fight Club: Pro in April

As reported on this site previously three of New Japan Pro Wrestling’s biggest stars – collectively known as The ELITE (Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks) will heading to the UK and Ireland in April.

Their opponents for the Fight Club: Pro event on Friday April 14th have now been announced and they are: British Strong Style.

The implications of this match are wide reaching as the BSS team consists of WWE UK Tournament competitors Tyler Bate, Pete Dunne and the reigning WWE UK Champion Tyler Bate, effectively making this a WWE vs NJPW bout. In recent months WWE UK contracted talents have been pulled from UK/Ireland independent bouts that have been set for broadcast and/or conflicted with WWE obligations, so it does remain to be seen if this history making bout will go ahead.
