-- In case you missed it, Raw General Manager Mike Adamle announced during Raw that John Cena had suffered a neck injury which will require surgery and put him out of action indefinitely. Adamle then announced that Rey Mysterio will replace Cena in the Championship Scramble match. The storyline explanation for Cena's injury is that it occurred during his SummerSlam match with Batista when Cena took repeated Batista Bombs from "The Animal." Considering that Mysterio is replacing Cena in the match, it should be a good indication that he's okay in WWE world - not to mention in wrestling shape - despite the "Alive or Dead" storyline with Kane.
-- Chris Jericho's is set to host a new reality show called Redemption Song. The original title of the show was "Shame 2 Fame." The show premieres on the Fuse network on Wednesday, October 29.
-- Last Friday's Smackdown drew a 2.3 rating on the fast nationals.
