Kenny Omega Says Match Against Cody Will Determine Bullet Club Leader

3

Kenny Omega and Cody will go one-on-one for the second time in their rivalry this Saturday at the Cow Palace. Not only will the match be for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship, the winner will be declared the leader of Bullet Club.

Omega built the match up with the following Tweet from earlier today:

Both Cody and Omega alluded to the idea that the winner of their last match would be declared leader of Bullet Club as well. The faction leadership was still up for debate after Cody had won, however.

Kenny Omega versus Cody II

Saturday will be Omega’s first defense of the title he won at Dominion. Omega’s victory over Kazuchika Okada ended the longest running IWGP Heavyweight Championship reign of all-time. He is just the second member of the faction to win the title after AJ Styles did so in 2014.

As for Cody, this will be his 3rd title match in a week’s time. He unsuccessfully challenged for the ROH World Championship this weekend. At Best in the World on Friday night, Dalton Castle won a 3-way match against Cody and Marty Scurll. The next night in Fairfax, Jay Lethal would win a fatal 4-way match against Castle, Scurll, and Matt Taven to win the title for the second time in his career.

Baron Corbin Exchanges Words With Finn Balor On Social Media

4

Finn Balor and Baron Corbin are continuing their feud on Twitter as they have exchanged words on the platform.

It all started once Corbin called Balor a coward, cheat, and problem, which led to Balor stating that Corbin sounds like a famous Meredith Brooks song called “b—h.”

Although they have worked with each other in NXT, they have yet to have a program on the main roster, which appears to be the direction that the WWE is going and could set up a match at the Extreme Rules pay-per-view. You can see their exchange here:

The Extreme Rules pay-per-view event takes place on Sunday, July 15, 2018 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at the PPG Paints Arena and will air on the WWE Network. If WWE does add this match to the Extreme Rules lineup then they will likely announce it on next week’s episode of RAW in Boston, MA at the TD Garden.

Cody Takes Shot At Triple H, Offers Advice To Deonna Purrazzo

10

Cody Rhodes is generally complimentary of Triple H when he speaks about his time in WWE. He decided to take a jab at WWE’s COO recently on Twitter, however.

Cody’s jab came after it was revealed that Deonna Purrazzo has pulled out of All-In on September 1st, 2018. Speculation is Purrazzo is likely going to be competing in the Mae Young Classic next month.

“It’s been incredible to see first hand what @MattJackson13, @NickJacksonYB, & @CodyRhodes envision for pro wrestling. I am so sad I won’t be wrestling at #AllIn but my heart will be there September 1st ”

Cody responded to Deonna’s Tweet with some advice on how to handle her potential photo with Triple H.

“Take 1 large step forward in the photo, he likes to make people look shorter than him. Good luck D. Beat everybody. Run up the score.”

WWE Signing All-In Talents?

Last month, Cody addressed the possibility of WWE signing talents scheduled to appear at All-In. The discussion began when a fan asked Dave Meltzer on Twitter about how WWE might decide to counter the Chicago event.

“Nope and tickets are sold,” Meltzer responded to a fan’s question of possible WWE action against the event. “All they can do it try and sign the talent on the show and pull them, and most are under contract elsewhere past that date.”

Cody saw the Twitter conversation and responded. “That’s a possibility,” Cody admitted. “Everybody has different goals. If your goal is to take a meet/greet style handshake photo, and pretend to be excited about going back to wrestling school…that’s your prerogative ha.”

Hulk Hogan and Edge Recall Winning Tag Team Gold Together

13

In 2002, Hulk Hogan and Edge won the WWE World Tag Team Championships. They did so by defeating the team of Billy & Chuck on the July 2nd, 2002 Smackdown from the Fleet Center in Boston.

Hogan recently praised Edge on Twitter:

Edge is truly one of the greats in the WWE. Only a neck injury stopped him from surpassing all of us. He knows the business’s inside and out brother. Only love4EDGE. HH

Edge grew up a Hulk Hogan fan. He has spoken of attending WrestleMania VI in Toronto as a youngster frequently. Hogan has not had much luck at WrestleManias in Edge’s hometown, losing high-profile matches each time WrestleMania has been held in the city. Hogan lost to the Ultimate Warrior at WrestleMania VI and again to the Rock at WrestleMania 18.

“Coming from the brother brother who inspired me to be a wrestler, this type of compliment will resonate with me until I’m the old, surly, uncool grandpa who tells all the grandkids, back in my day I teamed with Hulk Hogan. And the people went banana! Although they actually did”

Johnny Gargano Grows Up an Edge Fan

Just as Edge grew up a fan of Hulk Hogan, there are Superstars active today who grew up fans of Edge. One of those Superstars is Johnny Gargano. Recently, Gargano posted a photo he took of himself as a kid posing with Edge.

“Hey @EdgeRatedR, Remember on the @EandCPod when I said that the first time we met was backstage at an indy show in 2015?.. A trip to my Mom’s house jogged my memory. That totally wasn’t the first time we met.. This was 2004!”

Edge simply responded with a Tweet which read, “Holy cupcakes and donuts this is awesome!”

Truth was backstage at Smackdown last night, however. He appears to be looking for a new tag-team partner as well. Despite coming to believe he is an alien, Truth first asked Tye Dillinger to be his new partner. When that didn’t work out, Truth then challenged Samoa Joe to face Dillinger in a future match.

WWE.com has released video of the interaction:

https://twitter.com/WWEMaverick/status/1014482196760088576

205 Live Results 7/3/18

Century Link Center

1. Noam Dar defeated TJP

  • Noam Dar was the surprise opponent. The returning Scottish SuperNova made short work of TJP.

2. Akira Tozawa defeated Jason Strife

  • Lio Rush came out to do guest commentary during this match.
  • This was the 3rd straight victory for Tozawa on 205 Live. He defeated Tony Nese last week and another local talent 2 weeks before that. His last loss was to Drew Gulak on an episode of Main Event from June 4th, 2018.

  • The finish of the match began when Ali got tied up in the ring ropes and Murphy delivered several running knees to his face. After untying Ali, Murphy went for the pin but only got a close 2-count. Ali then fought back and gave Murphy a tornado DDT off the steel steps and got the 3-count for the win.
  • The commentators suggested Ali will be watching next week’s title match closely.

Former NXT Champions Wrestle In Dark Matches On SmackDown

2

There were two dark matches on this week’s episode of SmackDown Live and they both consisted former Champions from NXT who have recently debuted on the main roster.

The first match saw the former NXT Champion Andrade ‘Cien’ Almas continuing his rivalry with Sin Cara as he defeated the Masked Star in a one on one match before the show started.

Though there was no clear winner in the second dark match of the night and the match between Sanity and The New Day which took place after cameras stopped rolling ended in a double disqualification after both the teams collided in the ring.

It’s worth mentioning here that this wasn’t the first time these two teams met during the night as Sanity interrupted New Day’s pancake eating contest and attacked the former Tag Champs during the broadcast of the Blue Branded show.

After the event, the trio lead by Eric Young was interviewed by Renee Young. She asked them about the reason behind the attack and replying to it Eric said that they don’t need to explain anything:

So far the trio does not have any announced match for Extreme Rules but it appears that WWE is building towards Sanity vs. New Day bout for the upcoming PPV.

However, the same cannot be said about Andrade ‘Cien’ Almas and it’s hard to say whether WWE will have him compete in a match at the upcoming show or not.

Bray Wyatt Cited For Careless Driving Over Recent Car Accident

6

We noted before how Bray Wyatt missed some live events as well as this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw due to a car accident and a new report reveals that he was cited for careless driving over the incident.

TMZ reports that the Eater Of Worlds wasn’t paying attention to traffic while driving and was cited for “careless driving due to his failure to operate his vehicle in a careful and prudent manner”.

It’s unclear if he was distracted by something while driving as the official police report on the accident simply says that the Champion was “inattentive.”

Bray Wyatt smashed his car into another vehicle on Friday and he was transported to Tampa General Hospital via ambulance after the car crash.

He suffered multiple injuries from the incident which forced Bray to miss weekend’s Live Events. WWE later released a statement and revealed that he will also miss Raw.

Though the damage doesn’t appear to be very serious and in an interview given after his release from hospital on Monday, the Raw Champion said that he is going to live through it because he cannot die.

As of this writing, the tag team match which is expected to see Bray Wyatt and Matt Hardy defend the Raw Tag Team Championships against the B Team at Extreme Rules is still on.

Extreme Rules will take place on Sunday, July 15 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

The match was the opening bout of the show and before it, the former Champion trash talked the crowd and talked about a big game. Though things didn’t go so well for him afterward and Dar ended up beating him in a quick fashion.

TJP got quite upset after the loss. He didn’t even stop by for a post-match interview with Dasha Fuentes and left the building. Noam Dar underwent a surgery for a torn meniscus and the Cruiserweight Star had been out of action since December.

Baron Corbin Warns Finn Balor

Raw Constable Baron Corbin and Finn Balor seemed to be engaging in a rivalry in recent weeks when they collided in various tag team matches but it became clear that they are moving on with a singles feud this week.

This week’s episode of the Red Branded Show saw Corbin calling out Balor and asking for an apology. While Finn did come out, he mocked Baron instead and after a cheap shot from the former US Champion, Finn Balor attacked his rival and sent him in retreat.

After the show, Baron Corbin took on his twitter account and warned the former Universal Champion, saying that he will make sure things are fixed:

Jimmy and Jey came down to the entrance ramp and asked the crowd if they were excited if Team Hell No was back. The Usos then claimed that Team Hell No didn’t deserve a title shot at Extreme Rules just because they shared a hug last week.

The Usos then hugged each other four times in a row and stated that means they are due four title opportunities. Bryan challenged The Usos to the match but Kane was hesitant.

Bryan got pissed off and started yelling at Kane before SmackDown GM Paige interrupted. Paige said that it was her obligation to do what is right for the WWE Universe. Paige said that Team Hell No will face The Usos tonight in the main event. If The Usos, they will be added to the tag team title match at Extreme Rules.

WWE SmackDown Live Results & Discussion (7/3)

327

The July 3rd edition of WWE SmackDown Live took place at the Century Link Center in Ohama, NE.

– This week’s broadcast opens up with a video package looking at Team Hell No’s reunion last week, and the history between Daniel Bryan and Kane.

– Tonight’s show starts with Renee Young in the ring, who introduces Team Hell No. Daniel Bryan and Kane come down to the ring and talk about their reunion. Kane says they’re back and better than ever. Kane says Daniel can have a bit of a temper sometime, and Kane knew he wouldn’t be able to let his beef with the Bludgeon Brothers go, and Kane is his demon watching over him. Bryan interjects that Kane hasn’t always been watching over him, and Bryan takes issue with Kane beating him up in the past. Bryan and Kane argue until The Usos come out to interrupt. The Usos say Team Hell No doesn’t deserve a Tag Title shot, and a whole lot has changed on SmackDown since Team Hell No was last a team. The Usos make fun of Kane Bryan for hugging, so Bryan tells them to come show how tough they are in the ring. Kane says to wait, because Team Hell No has to consider this as a team, and they’ll get back to the Usos. This leads to Kane and Bryan arguing more, and then Paige comes out to interrupt. Paige books The Usos vs. Team Hell No, and if The Usos win, they get added to the Tag Title match at Extreme Rules. The Usos vs. Team Hell No is now official for later tonight.

– We see a pre-taped promo from U.S. Champion Jeff Hardy making an analogy about the bald eagle and his U.S. Title belt. Jeff is wearing red, white and blue facepaint for July 4th. The U.S. Title open challenge is next.

– We see a pre-taped promo from Asuka talking about beating anyone in her way – male of female. She says James Ellsworth is not ready for Asuka.

Jeff Hardy (c) vs. The Miz: The Miz comes out to answer the U.S. Title open challenge, and Jeff’s belt is on the line in this one. The opening bell sounds and The Miz starts off strong, backing Jeff into the corner with strikes. Jeff fights back and the brawl briefly spills out to ringside. The Miz misses a baseball slide kick on the outside and Jeff drops him on the floor. Back in the ring, Jeff repeatedly slams Miz’s head into the turnbuckles, but The Miz fires back with a knee to the face. Miz follows up with a big boot for a two count. Jeff fights back with a forearm shot to the head and an inverted atomic drop. Jeff follows up with the leg drop and the low dropkick for a two count. Jeff dumps The Miz out to ringside and follows up with a baseball slide dropkick. Jeff runs on the floor and leaps off the ring steps towards The Miz, but Miz side-steps and Jeff crashes into the fan barricade by himself. They fight back into the ring where Miz looks for the Skull Crushing Finale, but Jeff escapes and drops Miz in the corner. Jeff looks for a dropkick but Miz fends him off. Jeff looks for the Twist of Fate, but Miz escapes and comes back with a DDT for a two count. Jeff comes back out of the corner with the Whisper In The Wind for a two count off his own. Jeff goes for the Twist of Fate, but Miz escapes and pins. The Miz puts his feet on the ropes for leverage and the ref sees, so he stops counting. The Miz argues with senior official Charles Robinson, and the distraction leads to Jeff connecting with the Twist of Fate. Jeff follows up with the Swanton Bomb for the three count.

Winner & still U.S. Champion: Jeff Hardy

– Jeff Hardy is handed his belt and he celebrates in the ring as we go to the broadcast table where Tom Phillips promotes Extreme Rules. The broadcast team runs down the card for Extreme Rules, and then we go backstage.

– James Ellsworth is in his locker room where he cuts a promo about being better than women. He says his brain is bigger than women’s, and he’s all-man which means he’s ready for Asuka.

– Byron Saxton is in the ring for an Independence Day segment with The New Day. Byron introduces their first-ever Fourth of July pancake eating contest, and there is a big table set up in the ring. The New Day comes out to the ring next and each member takes their position in front of a plate on the table. They start eating their pancakes, but the lights go out and Sanity comes out to interrupt. Sanity hits the ring and attacks The New Day from behind. They beat down the New Day members all over ringside and throw Big E over the announce table. Dain hits a cross body on Kofi on the floor, and then in the ring Eric Young puts Xavier through the table with a flying elbow off the top.

– Still to come: James Ellsworth vs. Asuka

– The broadcast team shows us some footage of intergender tennis matches in preparation for this intergender singles match up next.

Asuka vs. James Ellsworth: Carmella is on commentary for this one. The opening bell sounds and Asuka shoves Ellsworth down, and Ellsworth rolls outside for a breather. Carmella gives Ellsworth a pep talk, but Ellsworth is still hesitant to engage. Ellsworth gets back in the ring and goes after Asuka, but Asuka tees off on him with a series of strikes. Asuka spins Ellsworth around until Ellsworth looks like he’s going to get sick, then she slaps him across the face and hits a spinning back fist. Ellsworth runs out of the ring and Asuka chases him through the crowd and to the back of the arena. The ref counts them both out.

Winner: Double count-out

– Asuka chases Ellsworth back to the ringside area, where Carmella attacks Asuka from behind and drops her. Carmella takes Ellsworth up the ramp with her and to the back.

– WWE Champion AJ Styles comes out to the ring next. AJ steps in the ring and gets on the mic. The Champion talks about his upcoming match against Rusev at Extreme Rules for the Title. AJ talks about SmackDown being his house, and then Rusev comes out to interrupt with Aiden English by his side. Rusev gets on the mic and trashes AJ, saying he’s going to kick in the door to the house he built and move in. English adds that they’re moving in on Rusev Day.

AJ Styles vs. Aiden English: This one is a non-Title match. After the opening bell, Rusev gets on the mic from ringside to distract AJ, and this leads to English dropping AJ from behind. English works on keeping AJ grounded until AJ fights his way up and levels him with a clothsline. AJ hits a flying forearm and unloads with more strikes. AJ looks for the Styles Clash, but English escapes. AJ gets him again and applies the Calf Crusher for the win.

Winner: AJ Styles

– After the match, Rusev pulls AJ out to ringside and whips him into the ring post. Rusev boots him in the face, then he throws AJ back into the ring for more punishment. He applies the Accolade before leaving.

– We see a pre-taped promo from Peyton Royce and Billie Kay about exposing Becky Lynch tonight. They say Becky is going to get hurt tonight.

– Carmella and James Ellsworth are walking backstage when Paige approaches them. Paige announces a rematch between Ellsworth and Asuka for next week, and it’ll be a Lumberjack match with the women’s division at ringside.

Becky Lynch vs. Peyton Royce: Billie Kay is at ringside for this one. The bell sounds and Peyton starts off strong. Billie tries to interfere but isn’t successful, and Becky rolls up Peyton for a 2 count. They fight in the corner until Peyton drives Becky down to the mat and works on keeping her grounded. Becky fights up and rolls up Peyton for another 2 count. Peyton hits a headbutt, but Becky keeps fighting back and hits a t-bone suplex. They brawl back and forth, with Becky hitting a kick to the face. Peyton blocks a shot in the corner and knees Becky in the face. Peyton goes to pick up Becky, but Becky catches her in the Dis-arm-her, and Peyton taps out.

Winner: Becky Lynch

– Becky celebrates after the match as Peyton recovers with Billie.

– We go to a video from Shinsuke Nakamura giving his reaction to his U.S. Title shot at Extreme Rules. Nakamura says Jeff must either be a clown or ashamed because he’s painting his face. Nakamura says he’ll strip away everything Hardy has at Extreme Rules.

The Usos vs. Team Hell No: Jimmy and Daniel start off with Bryan looking dominant in the opening moments. Jey tags in and they double team Bryan, then Kane tags in and cleans house. The fight briefly spills out to ringside where The Usos take control. Back in the ring, Bryan hits some kicks, but The Usos shut him down and trade frequent tags to control the pace of the match. The Usos continue to double team Bryan, but Bryan gets a breather when he collides mid-air with Jey and both men are down. Kane finally gets the tag and he unloads on Jey Uso with strikes and a splash in the corner. Kane hits a side walk slam, but Jimmy breaks it up. Jey dropkicks Kane to the outside and Jimmy looks for a suicide dive, but Kane blocks it. Jey charges at Kane but Kane shuts him down with a right hand. Kane looks for a chokeslam, but Jimmy gets back in the ring and they hit the double superkick on Kane. Jey tags in and The Usos go up top for the double splash, but Kane catches them both by the throat as they come down. Bryan drops Jimmy, and Kane chokeslams Jey for the three count.

Winners: Team Hell No

– This means The Usos will not be added to the Tag Title match at Extreme Rules. Daniel Bryan leads the crowd in a Yes chant after the match, but he stops to tell Kane he’s not doing it like he means it. Bryan gets Kane fired up and they hug as the crowd chants “Yes.” The Bludgeon Brothers’ music hits, and Rowan and Harper come out to interrupt the celebration. Rowan and Harper stare at Team Hell No from the stage as SmackDown goes off the air.

Stephan Bonnar Believes He Could Beat Brock Lesnar In An MMA Fight

15

UFC Hall Of Famer and professional wrestling personality Stephan Bonnar recently did an interview with Wrestling Inc. to talk about several topics. Bonnar offered his thoughts on former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar, who is also the current Universal Champion in WWE, and his rumored return to mixed martial arts (MMA) competition:

“He doesn’t have a lot of MMA miles on him and he is a great wrestler. I had a lot of MMA miles with getting hit in the head a thousand times over my career. I am at the age where I am slowing down and am slowing down. I go in there and go to war,” Bonnar said.

“With the concussions that he has faced and everything, he still had a couple more in him. I am all for him. I support Brock going in there and fighting again. I don’t think he should hang it up now. I hate to say it, but guys like Diego [Sanchez], who has been put to sleep lately, he should consider hanging it up, but guys like Brock, no way, he has a couple more in him. My hats off to Brock Lesnar for saying he wants to go back into it and I fully support it.”

Bonnar also discussed his dream fight in MMA and revealed he would’ve loved to have the opportunity fight Lesnar. He believes the match-up would really give him the opportunity to showcase his Brazilian jiu-jitsu skills:

“Honestly, I know if me and Brock got a hold on one another I would be able to submit him,” Bonnar stated. “He has a lot of holds in his game. He is pretty strong. I am that confident in my submission game. I have been doing jiu-jitsu since the 90’s, being trained by Carlson Gracie so I got a bad-ass submission game. ”

Sasha Banks Believes Her Best In WWE Is Yet To Come

4

Sasha Banks believes that the best is yet to come for her in the WWE.

The former WWE RAW Women’s Champion recently spoke with Sports Illustrated about various topics including her favorite match and her mindset as a Superstar. She noted that her favorite match came against Bayley at the WWE NXT Takeover: Brooklyn event back in 2015.

Banks pointed out that there are a lot of other great moments including the Triple Threat Match that she was involved in at WrestleMania 32 that featured Snoop Dogg performing her entrance theme song. She added that words cannot describe going over to Abu Dhabi and being the first women’s title match there for WWE.

“But being 26, I also feel like the best is yet to come. I feel like I have so much more to accomplish and so much more to prove. After we finish all these ‘first-time ever’ moments, it’s going to be like, ‘OK, can we out-do that?’ I just want to keep on being the best and continue making history, and leave my legacy in the WWE.”

In this interview, Banks also gave some praise to her fans for their support no matter where she’s positioned on the card because there is a connection between the company and the fans.

“There are so many people you can look up to and say, ‘Hey, I want to be like her.’ We have this great connection with the WWE Universe, and it’s amazing that I can do this every week. It’s a lot of fun, especially with the best fans in the whole world.”

Daniel Bryan Comments On Possible WM 35 Match With The Miz

2

WWE Superstar Daniel Bryan was recently interviewed by Gorilla Position to talk about several professional wrestling topics. Bryan mainly discussed his rivalry with former WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz. Bryan explained why he and Miz work so well against each other:

“I would describe The Miz as somebody who doesn’t know when to shut his mouth, who doesn’t know when things get taken too far,” Bryan said. “I can be accused of the same thing as well if you look at that Talking [Smack] — I said some pretty derogatory things toward him. I was in the midst of this and I had two options, I was either gonna punch him in the face and honestly the reason he said those things is he knew I wanted to quit.

“He knew I wanted to leave and do the independents if they weren’t gonna clear me. I had said these things in interviews. He said ‘hey if you really believe these things then why don’t you go do it?’ The thing is I had asked for my release and they didn’t give it to me. There was this rage there and it was like, I’m gonna punch this guy in the face or I’m gonna walk off.”

Bryan said he is definitely up for a WrestleMania 35 match against The Miz. The only thing is he questions WWE’s ability to tell the story from now up until next April:

“I am definitely up for it. You ask me that question, I will answer with a question: do you trust WWE telling that story from now until WrestleMania 35? What in the last several years has shown to you that something like that is possible [in WWE]?” Bryan continued, “If something accidentally happens and they’ve got no control over it, it’s possible that it can happen.

“I think that would be awesome. I think it would be something the fans would be excited to see. Whether or not we can prolong because people wanna see me punch Miz in the face. I wanna punch Miz in the face. Whether we can prolong that on television for that period of time, I don’t know.”

As far as dream matches go, Bryan names a bout with Brock Lesnar as his ultimate goal, saying it’d be the ultimate David vs. Goliath story:

“If you’re talking one dream match it would be Brock Lesnar, WrestleMania 35 in Seattle Washington. Because that I think would be the ultimate David and Goliath underdog story in front of a hometown crowd that would be rabid for that. So that would be my dream match and even if it wasn’t WrestleMania, if it was just in Seattle it would be super cool.”

Enzo Amore Reveals If WWE Has Contacted Him Since Release

10

Former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore recently joined WWE Hall Of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin’s podcast, The Steve Austin Show, to talk about his release from WWE.

Amore was released from the company back in January after some sexual assault allegations were made against him. The charges have since been dropped and Amore is focusing on his rap career going by the name “Real1.”

During the podcast Amore was asked by Austin if anyone from WWE has tried to contact him since his release. He revealed he didn’t know as he blocked WWE’s number and is currently nursing injuries from his in-ring career:

“I couldn’t tell you [if WWE has tried reaching out]. I blocked every number that had 203 in it. Straight up. I couldn’t go back anyway. I have sciatica. I can’t walk, bro. I can’t do things physically that I once can do. Getting to the end there heading to WrestleMania, I was saying to myself that I wasn’t sure that I could make it to WrestleMania, I wasn’t even sure that I could make it to the Royal Rumble,” he said.

“I was so beat up but I kayfabed the s–t out of it. I don’t want to go back anytime soon. I need my body to recover. I am not healthy right now physically. I can’t touch my toes. I used to be able to. I was putting off so many things and burning the candle until the end. When I was a heel and had that title I was going hard. I was showing up to work. I had a few nights that I didn’t have any nights of sleep, but you just couldn’t see it on camera.”

Sasha Banks On If She Feels Underutilized In WWE

9

WWE Superstar Sasha Banks was recently a guest on the In This Corner podcast with Brian Campbell to talk about several professional wrestling topics. “The Legit Boss” first talked about what a dream come true it was to wrestling in the Women’s Money In The Bank (MITB) Ladder match last month:

“It was such a dream come true to be part of the Money in the Bank Ladder match,” Banks said. “It’s so crazy, watching Shawn Michaels and Razor Ramon and now I am here doing exactly what they were doing, so it’s a dream come true.

“I thought the women killed it better than the guys. I can’t wait for next year and hopefully, I get the briefcase next year.”

When addressing the idea of being underutilized in WWE, Banks said she always gives 110 percent in everything she does because she was once told if you do then you can’t be unhappy with yourself:

“I feel like I go out there every single week and give it 110%, and as I was told by a good friend, as long as you work hard you can’t be unhappy with yourself. That is what I do every single week that as long as I am going out there every single week and giving it 110%, I can’t be mad.

“Whether they want to push me or not, I am always going to give it 110% and will always be the Legit Boss and keep on putting on great matches and stealing the show. I am honestly living my dream every single day so there aren’t too many things to be mad at, I’m still going to be the best though.”
