The Rock Buys His Dad A New Truck Following Surgery

12

WWE Hall Of Famer Rocky Johnson has a new hip and a new whip.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson took to social media this week to a story about his father recently undergoing hip surgery. Johnson called his son and mentioned his doctor told him he should be driving a bigger car – you know, because of his hip. The Rock took the hint and hooked his dad up with a brand new Cadillac truck.

“We all got daddy issues lol,” wrote The Rock. “My pops just had his hip replaced and called me and said ‘Hey Mr. D the surgeon really feels like I should have a bigger car since my hip rehab..’ I cut my dad off and just started laughing because I knew what he was hustling for.”

Rock continued, “I said ‘say no more..I got you.. just go down and pick out what you want,’ then we hung up and hours later I get this pic. Lol. Hey my old man was a tough MF on me. He’d kick my ass from one side of the gym to the other for years. I hated it when I was a kid, but grateful for it as a man. Im lucky I could do this and thanks for the ass kickins. Thanks Shawn Burnett and Ed Morse Cadillac for handling business for me and finding the gold bow. #MyDoctorSaid #NewHipsAndWhips.”

If the story sounds somewhat familiar,  that’s because The Rock posted a similar photo and story back in December 2016, when he bought his dad a new Ford truck for Christmas.

Ronda Rousey Gets Physical With Dana Brooke At RAW (Video)

24

WWE has uploaded unseen footage from Monday’s RAW involving Ronda Rousey getting physical with Dana Brooke.

Fans at the arena on Monday night did not see “Woken” Matt Hardy’s Ultimate Deletion. Instead, they got a segment with Elias and after that, Ronda Rousey came out. Rousey was interrupted by Dana Brooke and you can see how that went below.

Rousey is weeks away from her in-ring debut at WrestleMania. The former UFC champion has been training vigorously with WM34 tag team partner ahead of their match against Stephanie McMahon and Triple H.

Check out this footage of Rousey making short work of Brooke.

In this moment you didn’t see on Raw, “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey deals with an interruption from Dana Brooke.

7 Takeaways From WWE RAW (3/19)

30

The March 19th, 2018 episode of WWE RAW aired live from the American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX. Here are 7 takeaways from this week’s show:

Brock Lesnar Attacked A Defenseless Roman Reigns

brock lesnar reigns wrestlemania 34

RAW GM Kurt Angle came down to the ring and announced that Roman Reigns’ suspension is still in effect and that he is not here tonight. Angle added that Brock Lesnar still hasn’t arrived but assured everyone that the Universal Champion will be here tonight. Angle went to discuss Braun Strowman’s Tag Team Battle Royal victory last week, but Roman Reigns was shown in the crown. Reigns grabbed a microphone and hopped in the ring as Angle stated that he was trespassing.

Roman said that he didn’t care that he was trespassing and added that somebody has to be here to represent the main event of WrestleMania. Angle said that Lesnar will be here but he is running late tonight. Reigns didn’t like that he was suspended for telling the truth. Angle said that he understands that Reigns is upset, but that he needs to be patient and wait three weeks until WrestleMania 34. Roman stated that he still doesn’t care and that he is not leaving the ring until he faces Brock Lesnar tonight.

Reigns grabbed a steel chair and took a seat in the ring. Some “U.S. Marshals” came down tot he ring and handcuffed Roman Reigns after reading him his rights. Reigns started elbowing the U.S. Marshals in the face and stomping on them. Brock Lesnar’s music hit and Lesnar rushed the ring as Reigns was handcuffed. Lesnar hit a German Suplex on Reigns and then beat him down with a steel chair. Paul Heyman held up the Universal Championship as Lesnar hit Roman with another German Suplex.

Brock hit another German Suplex and then hit Roman with the chair one more time before getting out of the ring. Lesnar took off his shirt and rean back into the ring. Lesnar hit Reigns with the chair a couple more times and followed it up with another German Suplex. Lesnar got out of the ring, got back into the ring and planted Reigns with an F-5.

Reigns was loaded onto a stretcher as the crowd chanted “you deserve it!”. Lesnar sprinted back down to the ringside area and shoved the stretcher over.

Opinion: Only two more episodes of RAW until WrestleMania 34. That means there will be roughly 30 minutes more of this hot-garbage storyline that I have to sit through until the PPV. WWE will desperately try to get you to get on Reigns’ side a couple more times before the PPV, in a pathetic attempt to get you to cheer for Reigns when he wins the title.

The match will generate a general boo from the WrestleMania crowd and then Reigns will get booed out of the building after he wins. The following night on RAW, Reigns will once again be booed and WWE’s response to that will be months of boring television with Reigns as the Universal Champion. I’ve just accepted it at this point. I’d like to think that the WWE Championship match will go on last at WrestleMania 34, instead of this tragedy as the main event. However, it would be fitting to hear Michael Cole shouting “THE BIG DOG HAS RECLAIMED HIS YARD!”, or something equally as nauseating as WrestleMania 34 goes off the air.

Kurt Angle Announced That Alexa Bliss Will Defend Her Title Against Nia Jax At WrestleMania 34

bliss angle raw 3 19

RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss came down to the ring with Mickie James. Alexa said that she was joking around with Mickie last week and that it was just “girl talk” when they were insulting Nia Jax. Bliss said “I’m sorry” before adding that she was sorry that she didn’t speak the truth sooner. Alexa noted that she doesn’t feel any remorse for what she said about Nia Jax and that she loved every second of humiliating her. Bliss called Nia dumb for thinking that they were actually friends. Bliss stated that it felt good to drop “300 lbs of sad loser”. Alexa then vowed to end Asuka’s undefeated streak and Asuka came down to the ring.

Bliss controlled the match early and beatdown Asuka in the corner. Alexa threw Asuka out of the ring and then distracted the referee, which allowed Mickie James to connect with a cheap shot. Bliss got out of the ring and bounced Asuka’s face off the ring apron before throwing her back into the ring. Bliss went for the cover but Asuka kicked out at two.

Alexa applied a Chin Lock but Asuka quickly broke the hold. Bliss connected with a Dropkick for a two count and then went right back to the Chin Lock. Asuka battled to her feet and connected with a Hip Attack in the corner. Asuka connected with a knee to the face for a two count. Asuka hopped onto the second rope but Mickie James hopped up on the ring apron and distracted her. Bliss shoved Asuka out of the ring and Mickie once again hit her with a cheap shot.

Back in the ring, Alexa applied the Chin Lock once again in the middle of the ring. Asuka once again broke the hold and threw Bliss to the mat. Alexa battled back and threw Asuka out of the ring as RAW went to a commercial break. When RAW returned, Alexa Bliss was still in control and was setting up to leap off the top rope. Asuka joined Bliss up there and went for a Superplex but Alexa blocked it. Bliss then slammed Asuka to the mat for two. Bliss threw a tantrum and smacked the canvas a few times after Asuka kicked out.

Asuka applied an Ankle Lock to Alexa in the middle of the ring. Alexa crawled to the ropes and Asuka had to break the hold. Alexa grabbed her ankle as the referee started counting. Alexa and Mickie started walking up the entrance ramp and Bliss was counted out. Nia Jax’s music hit and Nia charged down the ramp. Nia leveled Mickie on the entrance ramp and then chased Alexa around the ring. Bliss jumped over the barricade but Nia caught her by the hair. Nia slammed Mickie into the ring post as Alexa Bliss escaped through the crowd. Nia chased after her and the two ran backstage.

A few minutes later on RAW, Kurt Angle was interrupted by Alexa backstage. Bliss demanded that Nia Jax should be arrested. Kurt Angle stumbled ridiculously through his promo before finally gathering himself. Angle stated that the RAW Women’s Champion should be a role model and not a bully. Angle announced that Alexa Bliss will defend her RAW Women’s Championship against Nia Jax at WrestleMania 34.

Opinion: I like this storyline. Nia Jax impressed me a couple of weeks back by conveying real emotion and breaking down after Alexa Bliss pointed out every one of her flaws under the guise of an inspirational speech. I liked Alexa being revealed as a vile person last week when she was unaware that the cameras were rolling. I’m enjoying it and hopefully Nia gets her WrestleMania moment on April 8th. I’m not expecting a five star match or anything like that, I just think this storyline is being executed well. The evidence was in the cheer Nia Jax got when she came down the entrance ramp tonight.

Braun Strowman Will Have To Find A Tag Partner Before WrestleMania 34

braun strowman raw 3 19

Braun Strowman came down to the ring and the crowd greeted him with “get these hands!” chants. Strowman said that he won the RAW Tag Team Battle Royal last week by himself and that now he is going to WrestleMania 34. Braun noted that management informed him that he has to have a partner. Strowman stated that he knows he can win the tag titles by himself, but was interrupted by Sheamus and Cesaro.

Sheamus said that Strowman was out of his mind for thinking that he could beat The Bar by himself. Cesaro said that it takes a long time to form a great team. You have to train together, eat together and sleep together. Strowman and the crowd cracked up when Cesaro said that he sleeps with Sheamus. Sheamus grabbed the microphone and told everyone to grow up and that Cesaro simply meant that they room together. Strowman told them to shut up and announced that RAW GM Kurt Angle told Braun that he has a match against either Sheamus or Cesaro. Strowman asked who wanted to get these hands before throwing the microphone out of the ring.

Both Sheamus and Cesaro hopped up onto the entrance ramp at the same time. Sheamus held back as Cesaro got into the ring. Strowman beat the hell out of Sheamus in the corner before launching him out of the ring as RAW went to a commercial break. When RAW returned, Strowman was still kicking Cesaro’s ass. Strowman slammed Cesaro into the barricade and started chasing after Sheamus. Cesaro tried to jump off the steel steps onto Strowman but Braun caught him and slammed him into the barricade again.

Back in the ring, Strowman charged at Cesaro in the corner but Cesaro dodged it and Braun slammed into the ring post. Cesaro unloaded a flurry of uppercuts. Cesaro connected with an uppercut off the second rope for a two count. Braun connected with a massive right hand and then got out of the ring. Strowman leveled Sheamus with a shoulder tackle and got back into the ring. Cesaro tried to hit a Crossbody off the second rope but Braun was ready and planted him with a Powerslam for the victory.

Bayley & Sasha Banks Couldn’t Get On The Same Page And It Cost Them

bayley Sasha banks raw 3 19

Sasha Banks and Bayley teamed up to face Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville. Sasha Banks came down to the entrance ramp with a microphone and said that Bayley was her best friend and that they need to fix their issues. Banks said that Elimination Chamber was every woman for themselves and that she wasn’t to hurt Bayley’s feelings. She was trying to win the RAW Women’s Championship.

Banks brought up Bayley refusing to tag in after Elimination Chamber and then turning her back on her again the following week. Banks said that was two times Bayley left her and then forgave her because she considered Bayley as her sister. Bayley grabbed a microphone and admitted that she was angry following Elimination Chamber and that is why she didn’t tag in. Bayley added that she actually helped Sasha win her match the following week and just took off after the match was over.

Bayley said that she cannot get over what Sasha did to her at the Elimination Chamber. Bayley stated that the glare in Sasha’s eye and the smirk she gave after screwing her over ate at her core. Bayley claimed that she cannot get that picture out of her head and asked Sasha why knocking her off the pod was so easy, like it meant nothing.

Paige’s music hit and Absolution came down to the entrance ramp. Paige called Sasha and Bayley “whiney little girls” and Absolution matched down to the ring. Sasha Banks and Sonya Deville started off the match. Banks slapped Sonya in the face and launched her into the turnbuckle. Deville knocked Bayley off the ring apron and threw Sasha out of the ring as RAW went to a break.

When RAW returned, Mandy Rose had Bayley trapped in a Chin Lock. Bayley broke free and slammed Rose’s head into the turnbuckle. Sasha tagged in and Bayley went for a cover on Rose. Banks shoved Bayley off Mandy and went for the cover. Rose kicked out and knocked Banks to the corner. Deville tagged in and stomped on Banks in the corner of the ring. Sonya slammed Banks to the mat and connected with a knee to her back for a two count.

Mandy Rose tagged back in and locked Banks in the Abdominal Stretch. Deville and Rose took turns beating down Banks in the corner. Sasha broke free and crawled across the ring. Deville grabbed her but Sasha was able to break free and tag in Bayley. Bayley planted Sonya with a Suplex and followed it up with an elbow for a two count. Mandy Rose and Sasha battled in the corner as Bayley rolled up Deville. The referee was distracted by Sasha and Mandy and didn’t see it right away. Bayley got pissed off and got in Sasha’s face and the two started arguing. Deville attacked them both from behind and then booted Bayley in the face for the pinfall victory.

Opinion: I was interested in this storyline for a bit, but I’ve completely lost interest. I want to see Bayley get pissed off during these segments. There is just not nearly energy in these promos to get people invested in my opinion. I don’t even think this is going to wind up leading to a match at WrestleMania 34. Bayley might just eliminate Sasha during the women’s Battle Royal or vice versa.

Kane Chokeslammed John Cena

Kane RAW 3 19

John Cena stated that as long as there is a WWE, the name Undertaker has meaning. Cena asked the Dallas crowd how they felt about a match between The Undertaker and John Cena. The crowd chanted “yes!” and then Cena asked again and they got even louder. Cena said that The Undertaker’s response to his challenge last week has been silence.

Cena said that is the biggest mistake The Undertaker has ever made. Cena called it disrespectful of The Undertaker to not get off his ass and give a response. John continued and claimed that it was disrespectful to every single fan The Undertaker has. Cena noted that without the fans, there would have been no WrestleMania streak and no Undertaker.

The crowd started to chant “we want Taker!” and Cena held up the microphone. Cena stated that everybody would understand if The Undertaker is retired, but he hasn’t said it yet. Cena added that The Undertaker is not the god that the fans made, he is now the man that he has allowed himself to become and that man is a coward. Cena shouted into the microphone “The Undertaker is a coward” and demanded a response. Cena said that he would settle for a casket rolling down the ramp or some lightning, anything besides The Undertaker sitting there and doing nothing.

The crowd then started to chant “do something!” as Cena stood in the ring. The crowd then went silent and Cena said that was The Undertaker letting everyone down that has ever believed in him. Cena added that The Undertaker is not a god and that he should barely be able to call himself a man right now.

Kane’s music hit and Kane made his way down the entrance ramp. Kane got into the ring as Cena got escited. Cena asked Kane for The Undertaker’s response and tried to hand Kane the microphone. Kane Chokeslammed Cena and exited the ring.

It was later announced that Cena will face Kane next week on RAW.

Opinion: John Cena cut another very good promo tonight and continued to take shots at The Undertaker. I’m guessing that we will see The Undertaker once before WrestleMania 34. There is nothing like a Kane sighting to slow everything down to a halt and ruin whatever momentum there was. It was a complete buzzkill when his theme hit, but other than it was another entertaining promo by Cena.

Seth Rollins Saved Finn Balor
balor rollins mania 34

Intercontinental Champion The Miz came down to the ring alongside Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas. The Miz complained about not being on any promotional material for WrestleMania 34 and shouted that he doesn’t get any respect. The Miz bitched about AJ Styles and Brock Lesnar defending their titles in singles matches at WrestleMania.

The Miz stated that he exposed Finn Balor and Seth Rollins last week on Miz TV. The Miz referred to Rollins and Balor as “Tyler Black” and “Prince Devitt” and poked fun at all of their little indie fans. Gallows & Anderson interrupted and came down to the ring. Finn Balor then joined them for a 6-man tag match. Seth Rollins joined commentary for the match.

Finn Balor was trapped in the corner early and The Miz & The Miztourage beat him down. Karl Anderson finally tagged in and beatdown Axel. Anderson knocked Dallas off the ring apron and then connected with a Crossbody on Axel for a two count. The Miz tagged in and planted Anderson with a DDT as RAW went to a break.

When RAW returned, Balor tagged back in and cleaned house. Finn flipped onto Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel outside the ring. Balor threw Bo back into the ring and climbed to the top rope. Axel shoved Balor and he he fell crotch-first onto the top turnbuckle. The Miz tagged in and went for a roll-up but Balor kicked him and The Miz slammed into Axel on the ring apron. Balor rolled up The Miz for the victory.

The Miz and The Miztourage attacked Balor after the match. Dallas and Axel beatdown Gallows & Anderson outside the ring and Rollins came down to the ring. Rollins hit the Curb Stomp onto The Miz and then had a stare down with Balor. Seth told Finn that he owes him one as Rollins’ music hit.

Bray Wyatt Was Deleted

matt hardy bray wyatt raw 3 19

Bray Wyatt arrived at the Hardy Compound for the Great War. Wyatt approached the gates with his lantern and was greeted by Vanguard 1. Matt Hardy’s face appeared on the drown and he informed Wyatt to follow the music.

A piano could be heard in the distance and Bray started walking towards it. Reby Hardy played the piano as Matt Hardy danced along inside a ring. Bray joined Hardy in the ring as Matt shouted “Bray Wyatt, I knew you’d come!”. RAW went to a break as Hardy and Wyatt stared at each other.

When RAW returned, Vanguard 1(drone) was circling the ring as Bray and Matt chuckled. Matt shouted that the time for laughter was over. Vanguard 1 initiated attack mode as Hardy planted Bray with a Russian Leg Sweep for a one count. Matt took off his jacket and shouted “delete!” a few times. Wyatt went for a Sister Abigal but Matt blocked it. Bray leveled Matt with a Clothesline and shouted that he was a god.

Bray said that he forgot to give Matt a housewarming gift and grabbed a chair from under the ring. Bray gave the chair a smooch as Hardy told Vanguard 1 to initiate. Vanguard initiated “Boomstick Protocol” and fireworks started going off beside the ring. Hardy grabbed the chair and started hitting Bray with it.

Wyatt rolled out of the ring and Hardy followed him. They then entered “Dilapidated City” and Hardy asked Wyatt if it reminded him of anything. Hardy started laughing as footage of the Wyatt compound that Randy Orton burnt down flashed on the screen. Hardy hit Bray with a kendo stick and tried to hit him again but Wyatt blocked it. Wyatt grabbed the kendo stick and slammed Hardy into the building a couple of times.

Bray took his eyes off of Hardy and Matt escaped into the darkness. Wyatt followed him to the Land of Obsolete Men. Matt hid as Wyatt chased him all around. Hardy eventually escaped once again and Wyatt continued his search for him.

Hardy tried to attack Wyatt but Bray was ready and launched him into a tree. Bray slammed Matt into a garage door and it opened. Matt crawled into the Dome of Deletion as Wyatt continued to beat him down. Bray tried to slam Matt onto the piano but Hardy blocked it. Matt grabbed a ladder and struck Wyatt with it a few times.

Matt debated whether to choose the “chair of wheels” or the “mower of lawns”. Matt chose the mower of lawns and rode towards Bray. Wyatt got up in his spider pose and the mower of lawns stopped.

Bray beatdown Matt and said that this was Matt’s ultimate deletion. Wyatt dragged Matt back outside and to the Lake of Reincarnation. Hardy shouted at his friend, Skarsgard the Dilapidated Boat, that it cannot end this way. Vanguard 1 initiated into Attack Mode and flew at Wyatt as he set up for the Sister Abigail. Wyatt grabbed the drone and said that he will deal with it later.

Bray flipped over Skarsgard and found Senor Benjamin under it with a globe in his hands. Senor Benjamin threw the globe at Bray and he caught it. Senor Benjamin started singing “he’s got the whole world in his hands” and Brother Nero Jeff Hardy appeared next to Wyatt. Brother Nero sang “he’s got the whole world in his hands” as well. They then disappeared and Matt Hardy hit the Twist of Fate for the pinfall victory.

Wyatt said that this wasn’t over as Hardy shoved him into the lake. Hardy asked Senor Benjamin to retrieve Bray Wyatt’s carcass from the Lake of Reincarnation. Senor Benjamin said that he wasn’t there and Matt Hardy declared that the Great War was over. RAW went off the air with Matt Hardy shouting “delete!”.

Opinion: I hope that the Great War is not ovah because I really enjoyed this. This feud has absolutely sucked up until tonight. There needs to be more ridiculousness like this every week from the “Woken” universe. I’m sure those that only watch WWE and live inside that bubble found this to be stupid. I thought it was great and WWE could use more creativity on their shows every week. As for the entire episode of RAW, it was another letdown leading up until WrestleMania 34. WWE stated that Ronda Rousey was going to be at every RAW up until WrestleMania and she once again wasn’t live on the show tonight.

What did you think of this week’s RAW? Let us know in the comments below.

John Cena Addresses His Challenge To The Undertaker For WrestleMania 34 Match

9

Multiple time WWE Champion John Cena spoke with ESPN about his challenge to The Undertaker at WrestleMania 34. As of this writing, Taker had yet to accept the challenge but will reportedly do so soon.

For years now, The Undertaker has been a top guy for the sports entertainment company. He has feuded with the biggest names in the history of professional wrestling including Hulk Hogan, Steve Austin, The Rock, Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels, Triple H and the list goes on and on.

He has held nearly every title that the company has to offer. Taker has had a great career with the sports entertainment company.

Over the past few years, he has gone from being a full-time talent to a part-timer. After years of speculation of when Taker would retire from pro wrestling, it was almost certain that he had his farewell at WrestleMania 33 in the main event against Roman Reigns last year in Orlando, Florida. However, that is not the case.

“At my core, I’m a fan. I’m a member of the WWE universe and I’ve thought about this a lot. I was emotionally moved when the streak was broken. Last year was an emotional performance. Then you get closer and closer to WrestleMania, and you realize it’s not a WrestleMania without The Undertaker. You hold the ticket in your hand and you realize a portion of that ticket goes to hearing his music, seeing The Undertaker. That is WrestleMania. I know there will come a day where that changes — I just don’t think it’s now. Whether it happens or not, it is officially out of my hands, and I think it’s out of everyone else’s hands except one person.”

“If it does happen, I don’t think anyone who buys a ticket to WrestleMania will walk away throwing the stub up in the air going, ‘I wish he wouldn’t have showed up.’ I hope he does. I hope he understands the impact that he has on the current WWE Universe. He is WrestleMania.”

WrestleMania 34 is set to be held on Sunday, April 8, 2018, at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. This event airs on pay-per-view (PPV) and WWE Network. It’s the most successful and longest-running professional wrestling event in history. Both Raw and SmackDown rosters will be featured.

WWE RAW Results & Live Discussion (3/19)

The March 19th, 2018 edition of WWE RAW aired live from the American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX.

– WWE RAW GM Kurt Angle comes out to the ring to kick off tonight’s episode of RAW. Kurt gets on the mic and welcomes us to RAW. He talks about Braun Strowman forcing himself into the tag match battle royal last week, and winning it. Kurt says he has a solution for what Strowman did last week, and Strowman must choose a partner in order to face The Bar at WrestleMania. Roman Reigns walks in through the crowd and interrupts. Reigns steps into the ring and confronts Angle. Angle remins Reigns that he’s suspended, and he is trespassing right now. Reigns says who cares, and that someone from the WrestleMania main event has to be here tonight since Lesnar never shows up. Kurt says he knows Reigns is mad, but Lesnar will be here and Reigns has to wait until WrestleMania to get his hands on Lesnar. Reigns says he doesn’t care, and he’s not leaving his ring until he faces Brock Lesnar tonight. Angle shakes his head and walks to the back. Reigns unfolds a chair and sits down in the ring. It doesn’t look like The Big Dog is going to move until he gets what he wants. Police walk down to the ring to deal with Reigns. They surround Reigns, and one reads him his rights. They cuff The Big Dog and he argues. When they touch Reigns to try removing him from the ring, he freaks out and starts attacking them. Reigns pummels on them with his cuffed hands and elbows them. Reigns stomps on one in the corner. Brock Lesnar’s music hits, and the former UFC CHeavyweight Champion hits the ring. Lesnar slides in the ring and the still-handcuffed Reigns swings a chair, but Lesnar ducks and hits a German suplex. Lesnar repeatedly hits Reigns with the chair, then hits another German suplex. Paul Heyman shouts instructions at Lesnar from ringside, and Lesnar hits another chair shot and German suplex. Lesnar hits Reigns with the chair a couple more times. Lesnar walks off with Heyman as referees start checking on Reigns. The police appear to have left, but Lesnar is still on the ramp. Lesnar runs back down to the ring and bashes Reigns with the chair again, then hits another German suplex. Lesnar walks off, but changes his mind again and gets back in the ring. He hits the F-5 on Reigns next, who is still handcuffed. Lesnar walks off again with Heyman up the ramp and refs check on Reigns. Paramedics load Roman on to a stretcher, and we can hear a “you deserve it” chant on TV from the Dallas fans. Lesnar’s music hits again, and Brock comes down the ramp once again. Lesnar flips Reigns’ stretcher over and laughs, then leaves again. Reigns is helped up and wheeled to the back.

– Back from commercial break, Michael Cole introduces replays of the confrontation between Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns, and the police.

– We see Reigns backstage being stretchered in to an ambulance.

– Michael Cole introduces a video package looking back at Alexa Bliss being caught on camera betraying Nia Jax last week. Bliss faces Asuka next in a non-title match.

– Before the match, Alexa cuts a promo apologizing for what she said about Nia Jax last week. Alexa says she got carried away last week, and she’s sorry to Nia. But, what she’s sorry for is that she didn’t speak the truth sooner. Alexa says she doesn’t feel any remorse, and she loves that Nia was humiliated in front of the entire world. She says she never liked Nia, she used Nia.

Alexa Bliss vs. Asuka: Mickie James is at ringside in Alexa’s corner. Alexa starts off strong in this one and works over Asuka in the corner. She throws Asuka out to ringside where Mickie James hits a cheap shot on Asuka behind the ref’s back. Back in the ring, Asuka comes back with a shot in the corner and then the running hip attack. Asuka follows up with a running knee to the face for a two count. Asuka goes up top, but Mickie distracts her and Alexa hits a cheap shot. Alexa throws Asuka out to ringside again, where Mickie hits another cheap shot. Back in the ring, Asuka starts firing up and puts Alexa in an ankle lock. Bliss finally reaches the bottom rope to break the hold, and she rolls outside for a breather. Bliss is selling an ankle injury, and Mickie helps Alexa up the ramp as the referee counts her out.

Winner via count out: Asuka

– After the match, Nia Jax runs down and drops Mickie on the ramp. She chases Bliss now, but Bliss is able to break free and flee into the crowd. Nia continues chasing her into the back as we go to commercial.

– Still to come: John Cena wants an answer from The Undertaker.

– Alexa confronts Kurt Angle about Nia’s attack. Kurt says Alexa should be ashamed of what she said last week, because millions of girls like Kurt’s daughters saw it. Kurt books Alexa in a Women’s Title defense against Nia at WrestleMania and walks off. Alexa looks disturbed by the news.

– Braun Strowman comes out to the ring next and gets on the mic. He says he was informed by management that he must have a partner to take part in the Tag Title match at WrestleMania, but Strowman says he doesn’t need a partner. The Bar comes out to interrupt and tells Strowman he doesn’t know what he’s in for. They say to be an effective team you have to eat together, train together, and sleep together — which gets a laugh from Strowman and the crowd. Sheamus clarifies that they mean room together, not literally sleep together. Strowman says Kurt Angle told him he could have one of The Bar members tonight, and to come get these hands. Sheamus seems to volunteer Cesaro for the job, and we have a match.

Braun Strowman vs. Cesaro: Sheamus is still at ringside to watch. It’s all Strowman in the opening moments of this one, as he throws Cesaro out to ringside early on and beats him down by the fan barricade. Back in the ring, Strowman misses a spear in the corner and crashes into the ring post by himself. Cesaro starts pummeling on Strowman now and looks for the Neutralizer, but Strowman throws him off. Cesaro drops Strowman’s neck over the top rope, then hits a corkscrew uppercut off the middle rope and pins, but Strowman kicks out with authority. Strowman goes for a back body drop but Cesaro lands on his feet, so Strowman uppercuts him down. Strowman hits a splash in the corner then looks for the running powerslam, but Sheamus causes a distraction and Cesaro escapes. Cesaro rolls out to ringside for a breather with Sheamus, and Strowman follows. Strowman charges and tackles Sheamus down, as Cesaro rolls in the ring. Cesaro looks for a sunset flip but can’t get it. Cesaro kicks Strowman away and climbs the turnbuckle, but Strowman catches him and hits the running powerslam for the three count. Strowman celebrates his win and heads to the back.

Winner: Braun Strowman

– Still to come: Matt Hardy has invited Bray Wyatt to the Hardy Compound for Ultimate Deletion.

– We see footage from earlier today at the Hardy Compound. Hardy is at the piano with his wife, kids, and Senor Benjamin. Hardy orders his drone Vanguard 1 to survey the property all day because they’re expecting an intruder. Hardy then instructs Senor Benjamin to prepare the battlefield for annihilation.

The Revival vs. Titus Worldwide: Dash and Dawson use frequent tags early on to double team Titus and take control of the match. Crews finally gets the hot tag and starts cleaning house. Dawson gets the blind tag behind Crews’ back, which leads to the Shatter Machine for the three count after a very short match.

Winners: The Revival

– The Revival cuts a promo after the match and declares they will be the first tag team to ever win the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania.

– We see a video package about Mark Henry entering the WWE Hall of Fame this year.

– Bayley comes out to the ring for her match, and Sasha Banks follows, but Sasha gets on the mic. She says she wants o fix the problems in her relationship with Bayley, and they have to talk face to face. She says at Elimintion Chamber she just wanted to go out and win, she wasn’t trying to hurt Bayley. She calls out Bayley for leaving her high and dry twice since then, but Sasha is the bigger person and she’ll forgive her. Bayley declines the hand shake and gets a microphone. Bayley says she can’t forgive Sasha for what she did at Elimination Chamber, especially because she laughed after she knocked Bayley down. Bayley asks why it was so easy for Sasha to do that if they’re best friends. Absolution comes out to interrupt and Paige gets on the mic and tells them this is their time to wrestle, not their time to talk and find answers.

Bayley & Sasha Banks vs. Absolution: Sasha and Sonya start off with Sasha in control. Sonya stuns Sasha and then hits a cheap shot on Bayley to knock her off the apron. Sasha charges, and Sonya throws Sasha out to ringside next. Back in the ring, Sonya and Mandy now take turns beating on Sasha. Sasha tries to get to Bayley for the tag, but Sonya suplexes her down. Mandy tags in now and pummels on Sasha, then puts her in an abdominal stretch. Sasha fights out, but Mandy drops her with a dropkick. Absolution trades frequent tags again to double team Sasha. Sasha looks for the tag, but Sonya stops her. Sasha fights off Sonya, and Bayley tags herself in. Bayley beats on Sonya in the corner then hits a neckbreaker. Bayley hits a suplex and then a splash in the corner. She follows up with a flying elbow off the middle rope, but Mandy Rose breaks up the pin. Sasha runs in and starts fighting with Mandy int he corner. Bayley rolls up Sonya, but the ref is distracted by Sasha. Bayley boots Sonya down, then yells at Sasha for distracting the ref. The argument leads to Sonya hitting a cheap shot and booting Bayley in the face for the win.

Winners: Absolution

– John Cena is out to the ring next and he gets on the mic. Cena talks about his challenge to The Undertaker, and says if the Undertaker feels unworthy of being in WWE then he should know that he always has a place in WWE as long as it exists. Cena says The Undertaker’s resonse to his WrestleMania challenge: Nothing. Cena says The Undertaker won’t even get off his ass to respond, and it’s disrespectful to both Cena and the fans. Cena points out a guy in the crowd dressed as the Undertaker circa early-90’s. Cena says the fans turned Undertaker into “a god,” and without the fans there is no streak and no Undertaker. Cena says The Undertaker owes it to the fans to reply. Cena says if Undertaker is retired then say so and be retired, but if he’s not retired then he needs to come give the people what they want to see. Cena says Undertaker has become a coward, and repeats it again. Cena tells Undertaker to answer, or at least do “something stupid” like roll a casket out or make some fog. Cena says Undertaker let down everyone who ever believe in him, and he shouldn’t even call himself a man. Cena goes to leave, but Kane’s music hits and Kane walks down the ramp. Kane steps in the ring, and Cena says he must have been sent by his brother. Cena sticks the mic in Kane’s face and asks if Undertaker says yes or no. Instead of answering, Kane grabs Cena and chokeslams him. Kane walks off, as Cole wonders if that’s Kane’s way of saying he wants to face Cena at WrestleMania.

– We see a replay of Roman Reigns showing up earlier tonight, and then fighting with the police and Brock Lesnar.

– We see an unnamed Dallas Cowboys player sitting at ringside.

– There’s a clip of Matt Hardy at his compound feeding some snacks to a giraffe.

– The Miz is in the ring with Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel. The Miz complains about not being involved in the WrestleMania promotional campaign, despite being the Intercontinental Champion. The Miz says he gets no respect, and then he starts trashing Finn Balor and Seth Rollins. The Miz calls Rollins and Balor by their old indy wrestling names and says he’s going to send them back to wrestling in bingo halls. Gallows and Anderson come out to interrupt, and they’re followed by Finn Balor.

Finn Balor, Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson vs. The Miz, Bo Dallas & Curtis Axel: Seth Rollins comes out before this one starts and joins the commentary table. The Miztourage takes control on Balor early on by using frequent tags and double teams. Balor finally gets the tag to Anderson who drops Axel with a running knee to the face. He follows up with a running kick, and he also hits a flying cross body off the top for a two count The Miz gets the tag and hits a kick and a DDT on Anderson. Axel tags back in now and works over Anderson, but Anderson fights back and fires up with a spinebuster. Balor gets the tag and cleans house. Miz gets the tag and goes for a roll up for a two count. Balor knocks Miz into Axel, then he rolls up Miz and scores the three count.

Winners: Finn Balor, Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson

– The Miz & The Miztourage beats down their opponents after the match. It looks like they’re about to really do some damage to Balor, so Rollins runs in forr the save. Rollins starts laying everyone out, and he hits the curb stomp on Miz. Rollins comes face to face with Balor before leaving.

– We see footage from earlier today of Matt Hardy on a canoe in his “lake of reincarnation.”

– It’s announced that John Cena vs. Kane has been booked for RAW next week.

– Michael Cole introduces a video package looking at Ronda Rousey’s journey to WWE, and her training with Kurt Angle for their WrestleMania match.

– Now we go back to the Hardy Compound for the Final Deletion. Bray Wyatt approaches the gate of the Hardy compound and enters. Bray is welcomed by Vanguard One, and a hologram of Hardy welcoming him. Wyatt walks over to a ring set up on Matt’s property. Matt tells Bray he knew he’d come, and turns to face him. We’re told their encounter will be up next after the commercial break.

– We go to the broadcast table where they introduce the final sequence of the Final Deletion, and Michael Cole apologizes for what we’re about to see.

– Matt and Hardy go at it in the ring at the Hardy compound. Matt starts off strong, but Wyatt drops him and takes control. Wyatt goes for a chair, but then Matt gives an order to Vanguard 1 and some fireworks start going off which distracts Wyatt. Matt starts teeing off on Bray with the steel chair now. They fight out of the ring and over to another part of the compound. Matt asks if this building they’re next to reminds him of anything, and it apparently reminds Bray of his old property. Matt wakes Bray out of his daydream with a kendo stick. Bray starts fighting back and he drops Matt, then Bray starts freaking out and having flashbacks of his house burning down. Bray turns around to see that Matt is gone, and Bray starts looking for him. Bray chases Matt through another part of the property, then they start brawling in the woods. They fight over to the building where Matt has a ring and piano set up inside. Bray goes to suplex Matt onto the table, but Matt fights away and shoves Bray into the ring post. Matt then starts hitting Wyatt with a ladder repeatedly. Matt goes to run over Bray with a lawn mower, but Bray gets up and fights Matt off the mower. Wyatt drops Matt and repeatedly pummels on him with fists and elbows. Wyatt drags Matt over to the lake and puts the boots to him. Bray looks for the Sister abigail, but Vanguard 1 flies over and distracts him. Matt crawls under the dilapidated boat, and when Bray overturns it, it’s Senor Benjamin. Benjamin throws a globe at Bray and sings “he’s got the whole world in his hands,” and then Jeff Hardy briefly appears and sings it as well. Matt then reappears and hits the Twist of Fate on Bray for the three count. Matt instructs Benjamin to retrieve Bray’s carcass from the lake, but Benjamin says it’s gone. Hardy says this means the Deletion is complete, and he chants “Delete” as RAW goes off the air.

Former WWE Tag Team Champion Challenging for ICW Title

9

Insane Championship Wrestling has announced that World Champion BT Gunn will be defending his belt on April 15th as part of their ‘Jimmy Nails Revenge II: This Time It’s Personal’ event. The ICW World and Zero-G Undisputed Champion will be defending the belt against former WWE Tag Team Champion: Paul London.

London was an active member of the WWE roster from late 2003, his initial run saw him teaming with WCW legend Billy Kidman. Shortly after Kidman’s retirement he formed a team with Brian Kendrick and began a run which culminated in his winning of the WWE Tag Team Championships. London eventually left the company in 2008 when Kendrick was drafted to Smackdown.

After his release London took the independent scene, his run as part of PWG tag team ¡Peligro Abejas! (alongside WWE’s Sami Zayn) saw him again win Tag Team gold and he can now be found on Lucha Underground as part of the ‘Rabbit Tribe’ stable.

The Usos Discuss Why Turning Heel Was Important For Their WWE Careers, Competing At WrestleMania 34

10

WWE SmackDown Tag Team champions The Usos recently spoke with Pensacola News Journal to promote WrestleMania 34, which is slated to take place on Sunday, April 8, 2018, at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.

This event airs on pay-per-view (PPV) and WWE Network. It’s the most successful and longest-running professional wrestling event in history. Both Raw and SmackDown rosters will be featured.

The Usos have never wrestled on the main card of the biggest event of the year for the sports entertainment company. However, they are holding out hope.

“I don’t think it could happen, it’s gonna happen. Me and my bro keep saying, ‘This is the year,'” said Jey Uso in a recent phone interview with the News Journal. “And if for some reason we’re not on the main card, we’re doing the people wrong, man. The WWE Universe ain’t getting their money’s worth. We’re the best thing running right now, straight out the 8-5-0, right down the street from WrestleMania, man.”

“This year is probably hands down one of our hottest years,” said Jimmy Uso. “WrestleMania changes by the hour, by the minute, so I’m nervous about it.”

The Usos have been five-time tag team champions. By breaking this down, WWE Tag Team Championship twice in 2014, SmackDown Tag Team Champions on three different occasions in 2017. They were the first team to win both the Raw Tag Team Championship and SmackDown Tag Team Championship, which was previously known as WWE Tag Team Championship.

Although they started out as babyfaces, they became stale and knew that a change had to be made. Thus, they turned heel.

“The heel change would have never worked if that baby face phase didn’t go as long as it did,” Jey Uso said, referring to their seven-year run as good guys. “The heel change just made it more real. We get to be us, we could talk the way we want to, dress the way we want to, it was like the ball was in our court now. And it took a lot of hard work to finally get the ball, you feel me?”

Ronda Rousey Opens Up On WWE Having Faith In Her, Learning To Become A Wrestler

3

Former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey spoke with The Kingston-Whig Standard about various topics.

Rousey is set to team up with Kurt Angle to take on Triple H and Stephanie McMahon in a Mixed Tag Team Match at WrestleMania 34. During the interview, she was asked about learning to be a pro wrestler.

“Mastering new skills is one of the things that motivates me the most. At first I related it a lot to (movie) stunt work and fight choreography. The more that I get into everything, though they’re very related, it is completely different. I’m completely amazed at what these athletes are really able to do, not just physically, but mentally.

They can make up these entire matches by just talking to each other about it for five minutes — and they barely do anything physical to each other — and then they just walk out and put on these incredible matches. If we were to film the exact same thing for a movie, it would have to have been drilled for six weeks straight and probably have taken about three different takes before we even got one good one. I’m just blown away every day at what everybody in this business is capable of. I’m trying my best to learn. I pride myself on being a great student, but of course it also takes time and it’s hard to learn something from scratch with the whole world watching.”

The latest signee for the sports entertainment company was spearheaded by WWE Chairman Vince McMahon’s daughter, Stephanie, and her husband, Triple H. Since making her official main roster debut at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view event, the company has put a lot of faith and pressure in making this a top storyline on television.

“I really believe that if and when I apply everything that I have to this industry, I feel like I can be an asset. I’m trying my absolute best and that’s the best I can do and the best that I can do could change the world sometimes. We’ll see what this does.”

“I’m extremely grateful for the opportunity. To be honest, sometimes I can’t believe my own life and the stuff that is happening. I really feel like I’m investing every bit of myself into this and I really feel like the company is matching my effort in every way. If I’m pouring every ounce of energy I have into this being a success and they’re doing everything they can to set me up for success, all I can do is go out there and prove them right for believing in me. Yeah, it’s a lot of pressure and probably a crazy and unrealistic amount of pressure to put on someone for their first match ever, but you know what, if anyone in the world can handle it, I believe it can be me.”

Mark Henry Comments On His WWE Hall Of Fame Induction, Reveals When He Decided To Retire

8

Former WWE World Champion Mark Henry spoke with USA Today to talk about his WWE Hall of Fame induction, which was made official by the sports entertainment company on Monday afternoon.

WWE holds their 2018 Hall of Fame ceremony on Friday, April 6th in New Orleans, Louisiana at the Smoothie King Center and will air on WWE’s streaming service, WWE Network.

Bill Goldberg will headline the class. Henry joins Ivory, Jeff Jarrett, The Dudley Boyz, and HillBilly Jim in the class.

“It was a little while back. I was in Los Angeles with the powers that be… it was just an overwhelming feeling, you know? My face got hot. A couple of tears fell, and you felt like, instantly, all of the pain and torment that you put your body through, the sacrifices that you made – they were worth it. It paid it all off.”

“Well the first conversation I had, I thought it was one of my buddies playing a joke on me and I hung up on him. And my manager at the time called me back and said ‘hey, I just had Vince McMahon call you and he said you hung up!’ And I was like ‘that was Vince McMahon for real!?’ I felt so dumb. Here he is, one of the most influential people in the wrestling industry calls you and you hang up on him thinking it was a joke. Eventually I called back and I said ‘hey, I hope you understand, I thought it was somebody playing a joke on me.’ And he said ‘don’t worry about it, I’m glad I could get you back on the phone.’ He was like ‘I want you to come to Connecticut and see how we do things up here.’ I said ‘am I going to get to meet The Undertaker?’ You know, I was such a fan, I just wanted to meet everybody. That was really my primary thing for going down there because I wanted to see the stars. I wanted to see the superstars.”

Henry has been with the company since 1996 after being named “The World’s Strongest Man.” He was just 24-years of age when he decided to get into the pro wrestling business. During his time with the company, he held three championships. The WWE World Heavyweight Title, ECW Title, and European Title.

If you recall, Henry hinted that he would be wrapping up his career as an in-ring performer in WWE when the WWE Network aired an episode of “Table For 3” last year.

The episode featured Henry and WWE Hall of Famers Ron Simmons and The Godfather. During the show, Henry dropped a bombshell by revealing a bit of information regarding what’s to come in his WWE career.

The longtime Superstar officially announced that his 21-year in-ring career is coming to an end. He will transition from being a WWE Superstar to a WWE employee to help all of the up-and-coming male and female talent develop and become successful in the company.

“You know what, I saw a match – and I always study my matches. I always see what I did wrong, what I could do better. I was watching and there were things that I did that weren’t up to the standard that I thought they should have been. And a lot of that… I think some of it was age, some of it was the fact that I had some pre-existing injuries that I really couldn’t do all the things that I could do. And I didn’t want the fans to remember me being injured and being a shell of my former self.

I want people, when they remember me, to think of the Hall of Pain, when I was catching guys, 275 pounds. Picking up Big Show, close to 500 pounds, over my head and driving him through a table. And picking up Kane, 320 pounds and slamming him through tables. And jumping off the top rope to the ring and jumping out of the ring to the floor and splashing Kurt Angle. I wanted people to remember me at my greatest. Around 2015, I started to see my skills diminish. It happens to everybody. Father Time is undefeated. He is gonna win every time, and I saw him catching me.”

Olympic Gold Medalist Kyle Snyder Calls Out Brock Lesnar

9

Olympic gold medalist Kyle Snyder wrestled his final collegiate wrestling match on Sunday night for Ohio State University. What was the first thing he did afterwards?

He called out WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar.

Kyle Snyder’s amateur credentials are staggering. He won the gold medal at the 2016 Olympic games from Rio – making him the youngest gold medalist in history – but that’s just the tip of the iceberg.  He’s youngest wrestler ever to win the World, NCAA, and Olympic championships in a single year. Earlier this year, he won his third-straight individual national championship as a heavyweight.

The 22-year-old Snyder tweeted the following on Sunday night, indicating that he’s considering a future with WWE.

A WWE showdown between Snyder and Brock Lesnar is unlikely, but not impossible. If Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar’s success in WWE are any indication, Snyder would almost certainly be a quick study should he decide to begin training for a pro wrestling career.

Brock Lesnar’s future with WWE is also uncertain, with his contract rumored to be expiring some time after WrestleMania 34 next month.

Kyle Snyder Also Considering An MMA Career

There’s also the possibility that Snyder decides to pursue a career in mixed martial arts. Just last month, Kyle Snyder offered to train Conor McGregor for his next fight, so the UFC is also on his radar. Snyder attended two UFC shows last year (UFC 203 in Cleveland and UFC 207 in Las Vegas) and admitting that he’s considering a future in the Octagon.

“They put on a great show, it’s really exciting,” Snyder said about the UFC last year. “I think it’s something that I could excel in. I haven’t done much boxing or jiu-jitsu or striking or stuff like that but I think that I could pick it up pretty quickly. The crowd and the way they made the whole thing a big show was just exciting for me. It’s something that I want to do.”

Wherever Snyder winds up, UFC or WWE, it’s not a stretch to bestow upon him the label Brock Lesnar once enjoyed as “The Next Big Thing.”

Edge Explains Why He Didn’t Like John Cena’s Undertaker Promo On RAW

4

On last week’s episode of Monday Night RAW John Cena addressed his Road To WrestleMania and once again called out The Undertaker. WWE Hall Of Famer Edge recently offered his thoughts on the promo in the latest episode of he and Christian’s podcast, E&C’s Pod Of Awesomeness, calling it “hokey”:

“The John Cena promo, I thought it was pretty hokey,” Edge admitted. “I’m not going to lie. It was cool at some points, but then it was very… I don’t know, just a very hokey delivery. And I know that’s Cena’s schtick sometimes, but it just didn’t feel like this was the moment or the opponent for that, I think. That was my gut when I first watched it. Yeah, I don’t know.

“I think that’s a huge, massive match and I’m glad the crowd reacted the way they did and I didn’t even mind the going into the crowd thing, like, the way they’re setting this up like if he doesn’t have this match, or he doesn’t have this match, or he doesn’t have this match, he’ll go and pay to sit in the audience. I guess it was just when it got to talking about The Undertaker stuff, it just didn’t feel quite as… I don’t know.

“I don’t even know how to put my finger on it. I guess it’s just sometimes it’s kind of hokey delivery can kind of work, but in that instance, it just didn’t work for me. I mean, John never sounds like he’s at a loss for words.” Edge continued, “it’s a good promo. I don’t know. I guess it’s just the tone of it. I don’t know. I don’t know even how to put my finger on it.

“That just feels like one of those promos that should be nothing but serious, I guess. I don’t know. I don’t know. I’d have to watch it again, obviously. I could completely backtrack on everything I’m saying right now, but my gut was like, ‘huh, that was odd.’ Yeah, but they’ll have such an iconic match. But we called it, brother-brother! I don’t know if it’ll be career vs. career like I think it should be.”

AJ Styles Injury Update

4

WWE Champion AJ Styles is dealing with an undisclosed injury and will be evaluated by WWE doctors backstage at tonight’s RAW, according to a report at PWInsider.

Styles was scheduled to work this past weekend’s WWE live events, but only appeared at Friday night’s show from Madison Square Garden. Styles was advertised to team with Shinsuke Nakamura against Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, but that match never took place due to Zayn and Owens attacking Styles before the match.

Fans on Twitter freaked out at the prospect that AJ Styles might be injured with less than three weeks until WrestleMania.

Shinsuke Nakamura wound up defeating Kevin Owens in singles action, with AJ Styles making the save afterwards when Owens and Zayn were attacking Nakamura.

At this weekend’s SmackDown live events, Randy Orton subbed in for AJ Styles, teaming with Nakamura against Zayn and Owens.

As of this writing, AJ Styles is still scheduled to defend the WWE Championship against SShinsuke Nakamura at Wrestlemania 34 on April 8th.

Roman Reigns Reveals How He’d Handle Brock Lesnar Shooting On Him

9

WWE Superstar Roman Reigns recently joined Cheap Heat with Peter Rosenberg to promote his upcoming WrestleMania 34 Universal Title match against Brock Lesnar next month. Reigns has been doing quite an excellent job of hyping his match with “The Beast” at WrestleMania with some shoot-style promos on his adversary for seemingly skipping out on his Monday Night RAW appearances.

This, of course, is all part of WWE’s storyline and Reigns commented on Lesnar’s current standing with the WWE Universe:

“It’s a little bit different for him, right now, especially where we are at and the stuff I am bringing to light about him and his character and work ethic, I think some of the fans are taking it negatively,” Reigns said. “For the most part, Brock Lesnar is a cool dude, you can’t deny the fact that he is a big, jacked up brother who comes in and throws people on their necks.”

Reigns said that he has worked with Lesnar plenty of times before, including their main event match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 31. “The Big Dog” said he and Lesnar have developed some good chemistry inside the ring, however, they don’t have much of a relationship outside of their professional one:

“I’ve had interactions with him, I’ve had history with him. We had our main event match at WrestleMania 31 and we had a few different Four-Ways and Triple-Threat matches like that where other characters are involved. It’s a different dynamic,” Reigns said. “Every time you are in a situation like that you do get to spend a little more time with somebody. Yeah, on his own time he seems like a cool dude, I don’t know him that well, but we’re not friends or anything.”

As fans saw during Braun Strowman’s interaction with Lesnar during their Royal Rumble match, where Lesnar legitimately punched Strowman in the jaw for delivering a stiff knee to him, the former UFC heavyweight champion puts on some extremely physical matches. Reigns said Lesnar’s aggressiveness inside the ring isn’t something he shies away from, and his past as a college football player allows him to match that physicality when need be:

“If he throws two at me I’m throwing three back. My dad was a big man. One of the easiest things about wrestling Brock Lesnar is that there isn’t much thinking about it. It’s just all physical stuff, and I’ve been doing physical stuff since I was seven years old. I played Division-One Football at Georgia Tech, so I’ve seen and been around some of the best athletes in the world,” he said.

“What we do is a different form of entertainment and athleticism, but you still have to be an athlete in order to do what we do all year round, you have to keep yourself in that shape so, I’m never scared to be able to push that button, let’s go, if I have to protect myself, I’m more than capable, no doubt.”

Roman Reigns Comments On Recent Steroid Allegations

5

Roman Reigns has notably been accused of being involved with an illegal steroid ring over the past several weeks. Filmmaker Jon Bravo had been teasing the release of evidence against Reigns in his latest YouTube video on the case, however, the video presented no evidence suggesting Reigns was involved.

Initially when the story broke Reigns released a Twitter statement claiming no involvement in the matter in addition to saying he didn’t know the man, Richard Rodriguez, accusing him:

“I have never heard of Richard Rodriguez or Wellness Fitness Nutrition. I learned from the mistake I made nearly two years ago and paid the penalty for it. Since then, I’ve passed 11 tests as part of WWE’s independent drug testing program.”

Recently Reigns was interviewed on The Jim & Sam Show and was asked about the accusations against him. Here’s what he had to say on the matter:

“At one point it’s like, who is this [Rodriguez]? Where is this coming from? What did I do? Like, what the heck is going on? I’m just sitting at home playing with kids. I’m feeding babies and changing diapers, and doing dad stuff and then all of a sudden this happens. I think it’s just a good lesson of where we’re at. If you have any kind of social media presence; essentially, my Twitter is a billboard, unfortunately some people want to use whether it’s in a positive passion and a negative passion

“At the same time, it’s one of those deals where, I know me, I know what I have done, and I know what the truth is. You have to have one of those bulletproof mentalities where it’s like, these things are ricocheting off of me.”

D-Von Dudley Reveals Which WWE Superstar He Advised To Leave TNA

4

2018 WWE Hall Of Fame inductee D-Von Dudley was recently a guest on former WWE ring announcer Lilian Garcia’s podcast, Chasing Glory, to talk about several professional wrestling topics. During the interview Dudley discussed the influence both Vince McMahon and Paul Heyman had on The Dudley Boyz’s, D-Von and Bubba Ray, characters:

“All the promos we were able to shoot and to be good at it is all because of ‘Dr. Frankenstein.’ The Dr. Frankenstein I am referring to is Paul Heyman. He was the creator. We would like to say, Paul Heyman was the one that found and created us, but Vince McMahon molded us into the Superstars that we are today. We are grateful for both men, number one, ECW and Paul Heyman changed the face of Professional Wrestling and helped start the Attitude Era, and of course Vince McMahon, who is the master.

“He is the ‘Yoda’ of Professional Wrestling and Sports Entertainment. I am not just saying that because I still work for the man as a backstage Agent, but when you look at what he has done and where he has brought Professional Wrestling. Whether you like him or not, you see that he has changed Professional Wrestling. Pro Wrestling was that thing that you never talked about, if you did it was only among the selected few. Now, it is one of the biggest things out there and now everybody loves Professional Wrestling.”

Dudley also revealed that he once advised current SmackDown Live star and New Day member Xavier Woods to leave TNA:

“Xavier Woods was in an organization [TNA Wrestling] that I am not too keen on. This organization treated him bad, and Xavier told me that he may have a chance to go to WWE, but he may not and he doesn’t know what to do. We sat and talked for about 40 minutes; till this day he thanked me for making that phone call, and I believe it was Terry Taylor who was helping doing the hiring at the time, not sure who was in charge, but he basically thanked me for helping him make that decision in going to the WWE.

“I am not saying that there wouldn’t have been a New Day without Xavier Woods, but each individual brings something to the table, and I believe the success of all three of them with the charisma and personality is what made New Day who they are today. So, I was very happy when I came back to WWE and Woods was there. I had forgotten all about it until he reminded me that I was one of the reasons that made him go back and have that conversation with WWE.”

Roman Reigns & Alexa Bliss Can Make History At WrestleMania 34

7

WrestleMania 34 is right around the corner, and two of WWE’s biggest stars have the opportunity to make quite a bit of history at “The Show Of Shows” in New Orleans next month. Starting off with Roman Reigns, “The Big Dog” has main evented the past three WrestleManias with names like Brock Lesnar, Triple H, and The Undertaker. If his match (a Universal Title match against Lesnar) closes out WrestleMania 34 for the fourth-consecutive year he’ll tie Hulk Hogan for the most consecutive WrestleMania main events of all time.

RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss can also make significant history with a win at WrestleMania. She’s expected to defend her strap against Nia Jax at the event, however, that has yet to be made official by WWE. Regardless, if Bliss retains her title next month she’ll join Victoria and Trish Stratus as the third and only women to defend their titles at consecutive WrestleManias.

Given Bliss doesn’t lose her RAW Women’s Title before WrestleMania, she’ll also become the first woman ever to defend both the SmackDown Live Women’s Title and RAW Women’s Title at WrestleMania as well. It should be interesting to see if Reigns and Bliss break their respective records.

More Information On Who Will Induct The Dudley Boyz Into WWE HOF, Elias Reveals Plans To Record Music

– As we’ve noted, former WWE Tag Team Champions The Dudley Boyz will be inducted into the 2018 WWE Hall Of Fame class the day before WrestleMania 34 next month. One question WWE fans have been asking is who will induct the pair? Bubba Ray Dudley recently appeared on Sirius XM’s Busted Open Radio and revealed exactly that.

He claimed that fellow WWE Tag Team Legends Edge and Christian will be doing the honors, but hopes Matt and Jeff Hardy are on stage with them as well. Here’s the official audio of Dudley’s announcement from Busted Open’s Twitter:

– WWE Superstar Elias recently did an interview with Guitar World and commented on possibly releasing music with WWE. Elias said that there are definitely plans in the works for him to record music with the company:

“Absolutely, I believe WWE—which, if you are not aware, stands for “Walk with Elias”—the company is taking notice of what I’m doing every week and there’s absolutely plans in the works to record music, release music, put it out there and give them the sound of Elias that they can take with them. They can have it on their phone, they can have it wherever on whatever music format they have.”
