Darren Young Calls Out Total Divas Cameraman For Sending Him Inappropriate Photos

30

It looks like one-half of the former WWE Tag-Team Champion Prime Time Players, Darren Young, is airing some dirty laundry in public involving himself and a WWE Total Divas cameraman.

Apparently the Total Divas cameraman sent Young a shirtless photograph, something Young did not appreciate.

Below are some comments and screen shots sent back-and-forth between Young and the cameraman.

Batista Takes Another Dig At WWE Creative

16

Former WWE Superstar Batista continues to be very outspoken about WWE’s booking. On Sunday afternoon prior to SummerSlam, the parody @WWECreative_ish Twitter account wrote that they’re afraid WWE will team The Hawk Shemus with The Animal Batista to form a new incarnation of the Legion of Doom. Batista responded:

He’s likely referring to the incident from October 2013 when Stephanie McMahon slapped Big Show and Kane in the face during the early days of the Authority storyline. Back in April, Batista did an interview saying he’d be open to returning to WWE – but would only want to work live events, since WWE’s writers “aren’t great.”

Batista has been keeping busy in Hollywood. After a very well received performance in Guardians of the Galaxy, he’s set to appear in L.A. Slasher, James Bond Spectre, Bus 657 with Robert De Niro, Kickboxer: Vengeance, Warrior’s Gate and Guardians 2.

Jim Ross Blog: SummerSlam Thoughts, Jon Stewart’s Heel Turn, Lesnar/Taker Finish

5

WWE Hall Of Famer Jim Ross updated his official blog following the NXT Takeover: Brooklyn and WWE SummerSlam events this past weekend. Below are some of the highlights.

On his overall thoughts of WWE SummerSlam: “I certainly would give Summer Slam a good grade as in a B+. I enjoyed watching it at home even though my Chrome Cast apparatus did not work for me and forced me to watch the show on my iPad. It still worked but not as easy to watch as our big screen TV.

One thing for sure and that it s impossible to make all fans happy these days when it comes to match structure or how the matches end. As I have said, and it’s true, there are multiple ways to do something right in a pro wrestling match and everyone’s taste will never be the same. I had no major issues with any thing that I saw but I liked some things better than others.”

On Jon Stewart’s heel turn: “The Jon Stewart using a chair on John Cena was a head scratcher but hopefully we will find out more about that matter tonight on RAW. I hope that the reason leads to something significant as it should. It would be poor booking if it doesn’t.”

On the finish to Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar: “Interesting and controversial conclusion to the Lesnar-Taker bout that did not adversely affect either man and facilitated a potential rematch in the future, likely at Wrestlemania in April, but perhaps not. That’s TBD I assume but if Taker considers retiring there then a Lesnar-Taker Hell in a Cell match with Lesnar winning in Satan’s Playground would be another ground breaking moment for Brock. Does Taker need to win his ‘retirement’ match? Not specifically and especially if it elevates WWE’s biggest star and monetizes their investment in Brock. Perhaps the ‘rubber match’ will be help prior to WM32 and Taker ends his ‘run’ at the Texas sized event with another opponent that’s unlikely to be Sting.”

Undertaker Injury Update Following WWE SummerSlam

92

The Undertaker flew home to Texas earlier today and will not be at RAW from Brooklyn.

After collapsing near the backstage area following his match with Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam, The Dead Man was banged up from the match, but was not hospitalized.

Taker had been scheduled to attend RAW (although he was never advertised to appear), but those plans obviously changed.

As noted earlier, Brock Lesnar will be at RAW, with Paul Heyman noting on Twitter that he “plans  on venting a bit” about the controversial finish to last night’s main event.

WWE Hypes Brock Lesnar Appearance On RAW Tonight

24

In addition to announcing that he will be “venting a bit” on RAW tonight, it looks like his client, “The Beast Incarnate” himself, will also be at the show in Brooklyn, New York this evening.

WWE is hyping up a Lesnar appearance on tonight’s show. Their official RAW preview includes a line that reads as follows:

“Rumors are already circulating that Brock Lesnar himself might stay in Brooklyn for tonight’s Raw rather than fly home to the Minnesota wild.”

John Cena Comments On Jon Stewart’s Heel Turn, Cena/RAW Segment Revealed

40

WWE is hyping the fact that John Cena will react on tonight’s WWE RAW to losing his WWE United States Championship to Seth Rollins at WWE SummerSlam on Sunday night.

Additionally, Cena commented on Twitter about his loss to Rollins and addressed the fact that SummerSlam host Jon Stewart turned on him, which led to him losing the match — and his title — to the WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

Cena tweeted the following:

Mick Foley Talks About Conversation He Had With Vince McMahon Before SummerSlam

5

WWE Hall Of Famer Mick Foley posted the following blog on Facebook recounting the conversation he had with Vince McMahon prior to going out for his opening segment with Jon Stewart at Sunday’s WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view.

GOOD TO BE BACK

Yes, it was great to be back in WWE -even for a night.

Basically, if you get a text saying that Jon Stewart would like you to be his guest at Summerslam, you go – especially if you live 90 minutes away.

Let me share with you the touching words Vince McMahon and I shared before I made my entrance.

Mick: Thank you for this opportunity, Vince.

Vince: Always good to have you back, Mick. Now take off that fanny-pack!

What did you like best about SummerSlam? About SummerSlam weekend? What did you like least? I know not everyone cared for the ending of the main event.

Let me just leave you with the same words I used following the ending of The Undertaker’s streak at WrestleMania in 2013: “think of the Heyman promos!”

Paul Heyman To Address SummerSlam Main Event Finish Tonight On RAW

1

Paul Heyman tweeted on Monday morning that he plans on “venting a bit tonight” on RAW regarding The Undertaker’s controversial victory over Brock Lesnar last night at SummerSlam.

Referee Charles Robinson spoke to WWE.com after SummerSlam and said the ringside timekeeper rang the bell on his own. Upon reviewing the footage, Robinson acknowledged that The Undertaker did tap out and he would have awarded the match to Brock Lesnar, had he seen The Undertaker submit. The match continued and The Undertaker picked up the victory after choking out Lesnar with Hell’s Gate.

No matter what Heyman says tonight, it’s safe to say we haven’t seen the last of Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker’s rivalry.

Also, there is talk of having a mixed tag match featuring Dolph Ziggler and Lana vs. Rusev and Summer Rae.

Following his win at SummerSlam, Seth Rollins now holds the WWE World Heavyweight championship and the Untied States Championship. We’ll see the matter addressed tonight on RAW, but we’ll see how long Seth holds on to both titles. Other titles that will be up for grabs include Nikki Bella’s Divas Championship and The New Day’s tag team titles.

Report: John Cena Squashed Charlotte’s Divas Title Push

129

Charlotte was scheduled to win the Divas championship shortly after making her main roster debut – that is, until John Cena got involved.

According to an insider report from WrestleZone.com, the plan was for Charlotte to capture the Divas championship from Nikki Bella almost immediately upon getting called up. However, John Cena went to Vince McMahon and had Charlotte’s push squashed. He was acting on behalf of his girlfriend Nikki Bella, who is close to setting a record for the longest reigning Divas Champion in history.

Not only was Charlotte’s push scaled back from what it would have been, but Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch’s dominance over WWE’s other Divas was also toned down.

Edge & Christian On Next “Stone Cold Podcast,” SummerSlam Main Event Controversy

12

– Although a date was not announced, it was revealed during the WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view on Sunday night that the next edition of WWE Hall Of Famer Steve Austin’s “Stone Cold Podcast” will feature Edge and Christian as the special guests.

– There was controversy during the main event at SummerSlam on Sunday night, as The Undertaker actually tapped out to a Kimura from Brock Lesnar near the end of the match. This is why the time keeper called for the bell and the bell was rung prematurely. Replays after the match showed that Undertaker did in fact tap out, however because the referee didn’t call it, Undertaker’s submission victory over Lesnar stands.

WWE SummerSlam Kickoff Show

The Kickoff Show opens up with the panel, consisting of Renee Young, Booker T, Corey Graves and Byron Saxton. The four talk about tonight’s show and in their usual goofy, fun-loving style, start talking about some of the matches.

Renee then kicks it to the social media lounge where Tom Phillips talks about some of tonight’s social media interaction. Use the hashtag “#SummerSlam” to engage throughout the evening. He plugs an interview later in the Kickoff Show with Stephen Amell and Neville.

Backstage: John Cena & Jon Stewart

Backstage, Jon Stewart is walking with his son when he runs into the WWE United States Champion John Cena. Stewart gets an autograph for his son. When Cena leaves, Stewart says the autograph isn’t for his son, but he’s going to sell it on eBay because “daddy’s retired now.”

Kevin Owens Attacks

When the panel breaks down Kevin Owens vs. Cesaro, they talk about how he could barely walk out of NXT Takeover: Brooklyn after Finn Balor beat him up. Corey Graves picks him to win, Booker T says he likes him, but Byron Saxton doesn’t think he can.

As they continue to talk, Kevin Owens walks up to the panel out of nowhere. He gets in Booker T and Byron Saxton’s face. Owens mocks Saxton and tells him he’s going to turn the Cesaro Section into the Silent Section tonight. He gets in Booker’s face and yells, “You dig that?!” He walks off.

Backstage: Sheamus

Backstage, Sheamus talks about how Randy Orton got involved in his business and ruined his dreams of cashing in his briefcase and becoming WWE World Heavyweight Champion. He promises to beat the fangs off The Viper tonight.

Backstage: Stephanie McMahon

Backstage, JoJo catches up with Stephanie McMahon and asks about tonight’s Divas match. Stephanie talks about bringing some of the NXT Divas up to the main roster. She talks about Ronda Rousey and Serena Williams dominating their sports. She talks about two women graduating the Army Ranger course. She says she can’t wait to see what the WWE Divas will do tonight. JoJo asks for a prediction. She says let’s just say she’s anxious to see who’s going to win because to the victor goes the spoils.

Social Media Lounge Q&A: Stephen Amell & Neville

The panel shoots things over to the social media lounge, where Tom Phillips is with Stephen Amell and Neville, both of whom will be in tag-team action together tonight against King Barrett and Stardust at WWE SummerSlam.

Phillips fields questions from the fans. He asks what their strategy is tonight. Neville talks about how it’s a unique strategy because Stardust is an unusal character himself, Amell is a rookie and admits it himself. Phillips asks a couple more basic questions like that and the two give pretty generic answers.

WWE SummerSlam 2015

This year’s WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view opens up with Lilian Garcia introducing the host for this year’s show, Jon Stewart.

Jon Stewart & Mick Foley Kick Off SummerSlam

Stewart, already in the ring, welcomes Brooklyn to SummerSlam. He promises we’re in for a historic night. The fans start giving Stewart the “What?” treatment something awful. Stewart ignores it and talks about what we’re going to see tonight, listing a bunch of WWE Superstar names.

Jon Stewart says he’s still upset that Brock Lesnar broke The Undertaker’s streak. He said as a small weak man, he can’t do anything about it. So, he’s going to interview Lesnar tonight with his friend, The Hardcore Legend — Mick Foley. With that said, Stewart introduces Mick Foley.

Foley’s music hits and out comes The Hardcore Legend himself. The fans chant “Foley! Foley! Foley!” as he stands in the ring alongside Jon Stewart.

Foley goes on and tells some jokes and then says he thought Stewart wanted him to help interview Rock, not Brock. He makes a big deal out of the “B” sound in Brock compared to Rock, and says because of that, he’s not going to help him. Foley says he’s terrified of Brock Lesnar. They joke around some more and then Stewart says, “let’s get to the show!”

Roman Reigns Talks About SummerSlam Matches, Teaming With Dean Ambrose

0

WWE Superstar Roman Reigns recently spoke with AMNY.com to promote tonight’s WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view. Below are some of the highlights from the interview.

On how it feels to team with Dean Ambrose again at SummerSlam: “It feels good to have small talk and inside jokes out there. And to be able to laugh and watch Ambrose do something crazy, watch him freak out and start destroying stuff. It’s such a good dynamic, I think it’s going to be a great matchup. Anytime you put some Shield boys in the ring with some Wyatt boys, it turns into some magic and some hectic craziness, so hopefully we don’t burn the whole building down in one night.”

On what other matches he’s excited to watch tonight: “To be honest, I’ve been so immersed in my feud, and my beef with Bray and Luke, and as you know, any time it becomes a family thing, all attention span is thrown out the window. I’m like an unleashed dog. I can’t focus. I just want to fight. I want to wrestle the Wyatts. I’ve got to be completely honest. Just right off the top of my head, I can say Brock [Lesnar] and [The Undertaker] is going to be the matchup of a lifetime. … I’ve been in the ring with both, even more so with Brock. I’d be extremely shocked if we didn’t see an epic match and one for the books.”

Check out the complete interview at AMNY.com.

Video: Honky Tonk Man: WWE Stars “Don’t Have The Balls” To Approach Vince McMahon

4

WWE legend Honky Tonk Man released a new clip where he talks about Brock Lesnar. He says he’s never met Lesnar, but credits him for being one “hell of a negotiator” if he has able to get the type of deal he has from WWE.

In the video, which you can watch above, HTM said he hopes Lesnar’s deal sets the standard for other talents, but he doesn’t believe the rest of the guys will approach Vince McMahon in the same fashion because “they don’t have the balls.”

Honky Tonk Man also spoke about who Lesnar will feud with after The Undertaker.

“Who would be the next person in line that Brock can continue on with, and make that investment that they’ve invested in him really pay off? At this point in time I don’t see someone getting really ready for Lesnar because they mad him such a monster and a killer out here, so to speak, that after The Undertaker, where do you go?”
