WWE’s developmental territory has added 7 wrestlers to its roster, including former TNA star Consequences Creed.

Xavier Woods – Austin Watson, formerly TNA tag title co-holder Consequences Creed, and known on the indy circuit as Austin Creed.

Buck Dixon – West Virginia’s Shane Canterbury is the son of Mark Canterbury. Mark is best known as former WWE tag champ Henry O. Godwin.

James Bronson – Phil Friedman, a former IFL MMA fighter turned wrestler. He has a classic wrestler look that reminds me of the legendary  Joe LeDuc.

Fahd Rakman – Fady Madani, worked indies as Fady The Arabian Bull. Hailing from Patterson, NJ and having Syrian heritage, Fady was a main eventer for New Jersey’s IWF.

Roman Leakee – Joe Anao’i, son of WWE Hall Of Famer, Sika. Played DT for Georgia Tech before brief stints with the Minnesota Vikings and CFL’s Edmonton Eskimos. WWE hopes to have another natural from the legendary Anao’i family.

Ricki Vaughn – Came to FCW under the name Celeste. Vaughn was recruited out of Texas.

Bobby Dutch – Bill Carr from Northeast indies, primarily New York’s FTW Wrestling.

Former OVW champion Brent Wellington, Christina, the sister of WWE Diva’s champ Alicia Fox, and announcer Ashley Valence have all actively participated on FCW events, but have not yet been added to the online roster.

– It has been confirmed that ‘acclaimed comic magicians’ Penn & Teller will guest host the Sept. 20 edition of Monday Night Raw taking place in Indianapolis. The official WWE website previously scratched the duo from the line-up of upcoming Raw guest hosts.

Other upcoming guest hosts include actor Bobb’e J. Thompson on Oct. 18 and musician Toby Keith.

– WWE has changed some upcoming single brand house shows to Raw & Smackdown Supershows. The following events have been changed (thanks to Devin Cutting):

October 16th – Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado
October 16th – PNE Agrodome in Vancouver, British Columbia
October 17th – Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre in Victoria, British Columbia

– WWE confirmed Friday that both CM Punk and Luke Gallows have joined Twitter.

Following the news that former WWE superstar Lance Cade was found dead this morning at the age of 29 due to apparent heart failure, several people from WWE and TNA have posted messages on Twitter regarding the news:

Jim Ross: “Multiple sources have reported that Lance Cade passed away a few hours ago of heart failure. Our condolences go out to his family & friends”

Shawn Michaels: “5min aft my morning tweet I got the call about Lance. No words will b good enuff. 1 of my boys is gone.”

Matt Hardy: “Was saddened to hear about the passing of Lance Cade today. My condolences & thoughts are with his family & children. It’s a sad situation.”

Christopher Daniels: “RIP Lance Cade.”

Mick Foley: “I am very sorry to hear about the passing of Lance Cade. Only 29 – I had no idea he was so young. My thoughts go out to his family.”

Taz: “More deepest condolences to Lance Cade’s family. I got to know Lance slightly in WWE, He was a good guy with tons of potential…RIP. ”

Matt Morgan: “Very sad to hear loss of Lance Cade! Great young performer,lance trained in ovw with alot us and had limitless potential! Our condolensces to Lance’s family. He had two beautiful daughters. RIP buddy. I hate that this keeps happening. ”

Shannon Moore: “My thoughts and prayers go out to Lances family and kids. I have many great memories of lance and was fortunate to spend a great amount of time with him when we lived in Cinci for WWE. You will be missed!!!!”

We are sad to report that former WWE superstar Lance Cade (real name Lance McNaught) was found dead today. He was 29 years old and leaves behind two young daughters.

UPDATE: WWE Confirms Lance Cade’s Death: Apparent Heart Failure

Cade was trained by former WWE superstar Shawn Michaels in late 1990’s at Michaels’ wrestling academy in San Antonio, Texas. He held WWE tag team gold with his partner Trevor Murdoch and had a brief run as Chris Jericho’s protege during Jericho’s feud with Shawn Michaels a few years ago. During that program, he was released from WWE after an incident on an airplane where Cade took too many painkillers and went into a seizure. He was brought back to WWE developmental last year but was never used on television and was released again earlier this year.

Cade spoke openly in several interviews about his struggle with sleeping pills.  He had been working for independent promotions and in Japan over the past year.

We extend our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Lance McNaught.

* A segment was shot where Kofi Kingston and Dolph Ziggler fought. Tedd Long announced they will face each other for the Intercontinental Title at SummerSlam.

* Big Show defeated three local stars in a handicap match. CM Punk, Luke Gallows and Joey Mercury exchanged words with Show after the match.

* Rey Mysterio defeated Dolph Ziggler in a non-title match in the main event. Rey won the match. Kane had brought the casket down to ringside and after the match, he and Rey fought some.

Tampa Bay Online reports that WWE has signed Andrew Leavine to a developmental deal and he will report to FCW next month.

Leavine is 6-foot-5 292 pounder that spent the past four years playing football on the offensive line at Florida International University. After graduating with a degree in Parks and Recreation, Leavine was briefly signed to the NFL’s Miami Dolphins with a few other undrafted rookies.

Leavine wrestled in high school and finished his senior year with a record of 33-4 with23 pins. While at FIU, he trained some in jiu-jitsu and other forms of MMA. He had the following to say about those skills and stepping into the world of pro wrestling:

“It helps tremendously. But at the same time, I’m walking into a whole different animal here. It’s going to be a process of watching film, watching guys in front of me, like Husky Harris. It helps to watch those guys and see what I have to do to get to the next level.”

– WWE has cancelled the December 11 house show event that was scheduled for St. Joseph, Mo. They have cited a “scheduling conflict” as the reason for the cancellation. [Thanks to Devin Cutting]

– Mick Foley noted on his Twitter page that former WWE performer Luna Vachon lost everything relating to her wrestling career due to a recent house fire. He asks people send action figures, magazines, photos, videos, DVDs, etc. to Vachon to the following address: Luna Vachon, PO Box 5813, Spring Hill, Florida 34611.

– Jim Ross noted on Twitter this week that he and others would be filming new segments of WWE’s Legends Roundtable soon. Ross said that two hot topics are being considered for discussion.

– Former WWE Diva Chyna recently joined Twitter. Her account is located at twitter.com/9thwonderchyna.

– MSN.com has a “Where Are They Now?” feature on pop culture icons from the 1980s with professional wrestlers such as Hulk Hogan, “Rowdy” Roddy Piper and Ultimate Warrior among those profiled. A photo of Randy Savage is featured on the front page of the website, not to mention that he is first 1980s-era wrestler highlighted in the feature.
