The June 10th episode of WWE RAW aired live from Sap Center in San Jose, CA. It was the first episode of RAW following WWE Super ShowDown. Here are 6 takeaways from this week’s RAW:

6Baron Corbin Will Choose A Special Referee For The Universal Championship Match At Stomping Grounds

Universal Champion Seth Rollins kicked this week’s show and brought a chair down to the ring. Rollins defeated Baron Corbin at Super ShowDown and then fought off Brock Lesnar with the chair after the match.

Rollins stated that there is not a person on the planet that can lace his boots and noted his beatdown of Lesnar at Super ShowDown. He said that it felt great to leave Lesnar laying in the middle of the ring.

Baron Corbin interrupted to a chorus of boos from the crowd and he told them that the feeling is mutual. Corbin waited for the crowd to stop chanting “you suck!” before finally continuing his promo.

Corbin told Rollins that he should be worrying about him because he will take Rollins’ at Stomping Grounds. Baron claimed that WWE referee John Cone cost him the match at Super ShowDown and added that he will be severely punished for his actions.

Baron announced that he has been in meetings all day and will get to pick a special referee for the title match. Rollins joked that Corbin doesn’t have any friends and that his own dog doesn’t like him.

Sami Zayn joined the party and stated that being Universal Champion is not good for Seth. Zayn claimed that Lesnar and Rollins were trying to protect their fragile egos. Sami suggested that Corbin will be a better Universal Champion because he isn’t obsessed with Brock Lesnar.

Seth congratulated Corbin on finding the one idiot in the room that has his back. Kevin Owens interrupted and said that he agreed that Baron Corbin would be a better Universal Champion than Rollins. Seth then challenged Owens to a match in tonight’s main event.
