WWE Survivor Series 2018 aired live from the Staples Center tonight on the WWE Network. In the Kickoff Show, The Usos eliminated The Revival to win the Survivor Series tag team match for SmackDown. Buddy Murphy also successfully retained the Cruiserweight Championship against Mustafa Ali in a great match during the show.

Here are 6 takeaways from the PPV:

6Nia Jax & The RAW Women’s Team Picked Up The Win

During the Kickoff Show, Ruby Riott and Natalya got into an altercation backstage. Alexa Bliss then kicked them off of Team RAW and announced that Bayley and Sasha Banks will replace them. It was also announced that Mandy Rose will replace Charlotte on Team SmackDown.

Team SmackDown (Carmella, Naomi, Sonya Deville, Asuka & Mandy Rose) faced Team RAW (Sasha Banks, Bayley, Tamina, Nia Jax & Mickie James) in a Survivor Series Elimination Match. Naomi and Tamina started off the match as the crowd chanted “Becky!”.

Naomi connected with a Dropkick and then a massive brawl broke out between the two teams in the ring. Naomi kicked Nia Jax and the crowd erupted. Tamina immediately hit Naomi with a Superkick to eliminate her. Carmella then eliminated Tamina with a roll-up.

Carmella broke out in a dance break and Nia Jax got back into the ring. Carmella tried to roll her up but Nia didn’t go down. Carmella tagged in Mandy Rose and charged at Jax but Nia leveled her with a shoulder tackle for a two count. Mandy connected with a running knee to Nia’s face and Mickie James tagged in.

Mickie and Rose traded shots but Mickie got the upper hand with a Neckbreaker. Mandy locked in an Abdominal Stretch on Mickie in the middle of the ring. Mickie James countered into a submission of her own but Mandy Rose grabbed the bottom rope to break the hold.

Asuka tagged in and received a great reaction from the crowd. Asuka leveled Mickie with a Hip Attack and tagged Sonya Deville in. Sonya beatdown Mickie in the corner but Mickie quickly battled back. Bayley tagged herself in and dropped an elbow on Deville for a two count as Mickie James was clearly pissed off on the ring apron.

Banks tagged in and continued to beat down Deville in the corner. Mickie tagged herself in and leaped onto Sonya for a two count. Mickie went for a kick but Deville ducked under it and hit a Spear. Sonya hit a running knee to Mickie’s face and went for the cover but Mandy tagged herself in. Mandy then covered Mickie James to eliminate her and Sonya Deville got pissed off.

Carmella and Bayley were in the ring now. Carmella moonwalked and then planted Bayley with a DDT. Carmella taunted Banks and then turned around into a Bayley to Belly and was eliminated. Mandy got back in and attacked Bayley in the corner of the ring. Bayley escaped and tagged Sasha back into the match.

Sasha hit Rose with a Dropkick and then locked in the Bank Statement. Mandy Rose quickly tapped out and was eliminated. Sonya Deville quickly attacked Banks and beat her down in the corner. Asuka tagged in and hit Banks with a Hip Attack in the corner of the ring for a near fall.

Deville got back in and took Banks to the mat. Sasha escaped and tagged Bayley back into the match. Bayley bounced Deville’s face off the turnbuckle and hit her with a running knee to the face for a two count. Deville battled back with a Spinebuster and went for the cover but Nia Jax broke it out.

Jax charged at Deville in the corner but Sonya dodged it and Nia slammed into the ring post. Asuka then attacked Nia and the crowd erupted. Banks took out Asuka with Double Knees off the apron as Bayley hit Deville with a Side Slam for a two count. Bayley tackled Deville out of the ring. Sonya hit Bayley with a kick but Bayley responded with a Bayley to Belly outside the ring. Bayley and Deville were then eliminated via count out.

It was down to Sasha Banks & Nia Jax versus Asuka. Banks and Asuka got in the ring and traded shots. Asuka caught Banks with a Dropkick and then a knee to the face. Asuka followed it up with a German Suplex that sent Banks flying across the ring. Asuka hit Nia with a Hip Attack on the apron and Jax fell to the floor.

Asuka booted Banks out of the ring and went for a kick but Banks tripped her up and Asuka fell face first on the apron. Asuka quickly got up and hit a Hip Attack on Banks before rolling her back into the ring. Asuka made her way up to the top rope and hit her with a Dropkick for a two count.

The crowd chanted “lets go Asuka!” as both Superstars battled in the ring. Sasha hit Asuka with Double Knees in the corner of the ring and made her way up to the top rope. Nia Jax shoved Sasha off the top rope and Asuka applied the Asuka Lock to eliminate Banks. Nia Jax hit Asuka with three Leg Drops in a row as the crowd booed her out of the building. Jax followed it up with a Samoan Drop for the win. Michael Cole stated that Team RAW was up 1-0, even though SmackDown won already during the Kickoff Show. Apparently, we are supposed to disregard that match.
