Hardy brought a giant ladder into the ring and set up next to a tiny ladder in the ring. Hardy hit Orton with a Twist of Fate and then draped him on top of a table. Jeff climbed up the small ladder and then got on top of the giant ladder.

Hardy then swung from the top of the cell and tried to hit a Splash onto Orton but Randy got out of the way and Jeff crashed through the table. The referee called for help but Orton shouted at the ref to do his job and covered Hardy. The referee hesitated but ultimately made the count and Orton won the match via pinfall. Orton then posed in the corner of the ring as Hardy was loaded onto a stretcher.

Opinion: I absolutely loved this match. This feud has been great and I hope it continues going forward. More Hell in a Cell matches should be like this one. There was blood pouring out of Orton’s leg and back during the match. The screwdriver spot was insane to watch and Hardy risking it all was the perfect way to end this match. I thought this match was going to be solid but it turned out to be excellent.

Both the WWE Championship and Universal Championship match ended in controversy. It has already been established that Samoa Joe will get another shot at the WWE Championship at WWE Super Show-Down. It will be interesting to see what transpires next in the Universal Championship picture.
