UK-based potato chip manufacturer Walkers are currently running a social media campaign where Twitter followers can win tickets to the UEFA Champions League final that takes place in Cardiff, Wales on Saturday June 3rd. Walkers is asking people to upload selfies using the hashtag #WalkersWave to be superimposed into various promo spots. What could go wrong?
Unfortunately some users started tweeting images of infamous criminals, one of these being former WCW/WWE Superstar Chris Benoit.
Walkers mistakenly used at least one of the images of Benoit in a video which has been circulating online.
