AEW Dynamite Results (11/18): Moxley & Omega, Inner Circle Goes To Vegas

Pac Tapped Out The Blade & Death Triangle Reunited

Pac made his return to the ring and squared off against The Blade. Eddie Kingston joined commentary for the match. The Butcher and The Bunny were ringside for the match.

Match Recap: Pac dominated early and stomped on Blade in the corner of the ring. Pac brought Blade out of the ring and launched him into the barricade. Back in the ring, Pac made his way to the top rope and connected with a massive Dropkick. Pac got distracted with Butcher outside the ring and Blade capitalized with a Dropkick.

Blade returned the favor and launched Pac into the barricade. Blade followed it up with a chop and slammed Pac into the ropes. Pac connected with a DDT and sent Blade flying into the turnbuckle. Bunny tripped up Pac and Butcher hit him with a cheap shot from behind.

Blade connected with a Powerbomb and went for the cover but Pac kicked out at two as Dynamite went to a break. When Dynamite returned, Pac and Blade were trading punches in the middle of the ring. Blade connected with a Powerslam for a two count.

Pac hit Blade with a Superplex and went for the cover but Blade was able to kick out at the last moment. Pac made his way to the top rope but Bunny hopped on the apron for a distraction. Pac hit Butcher with a Superkick but Blade rolled Pac up from behind. Blade tried to use Pac’s trunks for leverage but he was still able to kick out. Pac hit a Shooting Star Press and then locked in the Brutalizer for the submission victory.

After the match, Pac tried to cut a promo on Eddie Kingston but Butcher attacked him from behind. Kingston cackled his way to the ring as Blade and Butcher beat Pac down. Rey Fenix rushed the ring to try and help but Butcher and Blade beat him down. Eddie hit Pac with several punches as Pentagon came to the entrance ramp with a steel chair. Kingston told Pentagon to hit Fenix but he charged at Eddie instead. Kingston, Butcher, and Blade retreated as Death Triangle posed in the ring.

Serena Deeb Retained The NWA Women’s Championship

Serena Deeb defended the NWA Women’s Championship against Thunder Rosa tonight on Dynamite.

Match Recap: Thunder Rosa took Deeb to the canvas but Serena quickly battled to her feet. Deeb applied a Headlock and took Thunder Rosa to the mat. Thunder Rosa connected with an Arm Drag and followed it up with a Body Slam for a two count as Dynamite went to a commercial break.

When Dynamite returned, Deeb connected with a Neckbreaker over the middle rope. Deeb followed it up with a Spear on the apron for a two count. Thunder Rosa hit a German Suplex and followed it up with a Dropkick off the top rope. Serena rolled out of the ring as Reba hopped over the barricade. Britt Baker attacked Thunder Rosa from behind and then Deeb hit Thunder Rosa for a near fall.

Thunder Rosa hit Deeb with a Double Stomp for another two count. Deeb then slammed Thunder Rosa to the canvas for the pinfall victory. Serena Deeb is still the NWA Women’s Champion.

After the match, Thunder Rosa grabbed Britt Baker from the crowd and launched her into the barricade. Thunder Rosa hit Baker with several punches to the face before AEW officials broke it up.

Brian Cage & Ricky Starks Picked Up A Win & Will Hobbs Joined Team Taz

Cody Rhodes & Darby Allin faced Brian Cage and Ricky Starks in the main event. Taz joined commentary for the match.

Match Recap: Starks and Allin locked up to start off the match. Darby and Ricky traded punches and Cage & Rhodes tagged in. Cody connected with a Dropkick and bounced Cage’s face off the turnbuckle. Rhodes followed it up with a Moonsault for a near fall.

Taz left commentary and made his way to the ringside area as Dynamite went to a commercial break. When Dynamite returned, Arn Anderson was kicked out because he threw a chair into the ring. Cody tried to tag Darby but Ricky dragged Allin to the floor.

Cage connected with a German Suplex and went for the cover but Cody kicked out at two. Ricky Starks tagged in and beat Cody down in the corner. Cody battled back with a Back Body Drop and tagged in Darbly. Allin Dropkicked Cage off the apron and hit Starks with a Splash.

Darby rolled up Starks for a two count and Cage tagged in. Cody hit Cage with a Disaster Kick but turned around into a Spear from Ricky. Cage went for a Powerbomb but Darby countered with a slam for a two count. Cody planted Starks with Cross Rhodes as Cage leveled Darby with a Clothesline.

Brian Cage hit Cody with a Suplex and then perched Darby on the top turnbuckle. Cage booted Allin in the ribs and followed it up with a Drill Claw off the middle rope for the pinfall victory. Team Taz then beat Allin and Cody down some more after the match. Will Hobbs rushed the ring with a chair and Team Taz retreated. Hobbs raised the FTW Championship and then bashed Cody in the face with it. Team Taz got into the ring and posed with Hobbs to end the show.

Opinion: This week’s edition of Dynamite was a very good show. Young Bucks and Top Flight had a great match and I thought the NWA Women’s Championship match was excellent as well. It will be interesting to see if Omega was the one who attacked Moxley or if it was someone else as we build towards the title match on December 2nd.
