Anniversary SmackDown Main Event, Chavo Goes Off On Fans

— An eight-man tag match pitting John Cena, Undertaker, Shawn Michaels and Triple H against CM Punk, Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase will be the main event for next Tuesday’s “Decade of Smackdown” taping in Boston, Massachusetts. It was originally scheduled to be a dark match, but will instead be televised the following Friday.

– Chavo Guerrero posted some harsh words on his Twitter page (twitter.com/mexwarrior) Tuesday night after several fans criticized his ongoing storyline with Hornswoggle. Chavo immediately pulled back the curtain on pro wrestling, insulting the fans for believing the shows are real.  “You all realize that it’s not wrestling anymore, right?. It’s entertainment. Sometimes I wonder by your comments.” He continued, “We’re not the UFC. It’s not real. I can beat up a midget any day of the week and so could you. But who wants to see that?”

If he hadn’t made his point already, he kept going, insulting the fans with a rather insensitive slur. “You guys realize that I can out “wrestle” most guys in the WWE, right? The way you guys respond makes me think that you actually think I’m losing. It makes me think I’m responding to RETARDS!”

There has been talk that WWE is considering making their Superstars shut down their Twitter pages, much like has been done with their personal websites.  A featured performer like Chavo Guererro telling the “retard” fans that “it’s not real” is probably part of the reason WWE is considering shutting the pages down.
