Paul Heyman is an American professional wrestling manager, promoter, and executive, currently signed to WWE. He debuted in the wrestling business in 1986 and has managed six world champions, including Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns. Heyman is known for his exceptional promo and managing skills. Heyman first gained prominence as Paul E. Dangerously in WCW during the late 1980s and early 1990s. He then became the creative force behind Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) from 1993 until its closure in 2001, revolutionizing the industry with its edgy content. In WWE, Heyman has taken on various roles, including commentator, General Manager, and manager. He’s best known for his long-standing association with Brock Lesnar and more recently, his alliance with Roman Reigns as the “Special Counsel” to The Bloodline. Throughout his career, Heyman has been praised for his creative mind and ability to elevate talent. He was inducted into the Wrestling Observer Newsletter Hall of Fame in 2005 and is set to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2024, cementing his legacy as one of wrestling’s most influential figures.
