AJ Styles Vows to Beat Gunther, Launch Phenomenal Farewell Tour

ByMike Reichlin

AJ Styles says he'll defeat Gunther at Royal Rumble to launch The Phenomenal Farewell Tour.

On WWE SmackDown tonight, Styles addressed his high-stakes match where his career is on the line. A loss means retirement, but Styles is confident he'll win and go out on his terms.

With his career on the line tomorrow, he has no plans of leaving his boots in the ring. He laid out his career bucket list to wrestle the likes of Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, and CM Punk one last time.

Styles reminded Gunther that he made the Ring General tap out at WrestleMania. Gunther fired back, vowing to end Styles' career just like he did John Cena's.

The Royal Rumble match puts Styles' legendary career at risk. Victory opens the door for dream matches with top stars during a proper farewell run.

Styles has been a cornerstone of WWE for the past decade, delivering classics across multiple eras. Fans are not ready for him to see him go.
