Backstage Update On Seth Rollins WWE Return

Seth Rollins hasn’t been seen on WWE television since losing to Roman Reigns at SummerSlam, and there’s now a clearer picture of why.

According to WrestleVotes, speaking during a Q&A, Rollins’ time away is being characterized as a deliberate creative decision rather than the result of any injury.

Everything I’ve been told, it’s a simple break. It’s not an injury, it’s creative.

The outlet also indicated Rollins isn’t expected back within the next week or two, but a return is being targeted around the Money in the Bank timeframe.

He won’t be out long. Don’t think it’s this week or next week, but around Money in the Bank or so.

Rollins’ SummerSlam Night Two main event against Reigns was a brutal back-and-forth battle, with both men fighting through the crowd and taking each other through the announce tables.

Rollins hit multiple Pedigrees and Stomps, and Reigns even turned Rollins’ own Stomp against him, but ultimately needed a third Spear — following interference-adjacent chaos with a second referee — to finally get the pin and retain the title.

With Rollins reportedly on track to resurface around Money in the Bank season, fans now have a rough window for when WWE’s next chapter for him begins.
