Bayley’s absence from WWE television led to a fan comment that the Role Model reacted to herself.
A video surfaced online of Bayley visiting Nattie’s Hart Dungeon to train with other wrestlers and giving advice to those prospects. This prompted a user to comment that she was enjoying her time off. It caught the attention of The Role Model, who shut them down via her X, saying:
time off? dont be silly.
Bayley has been absent from WWE’s television programming since her crushing defeat to Lyra Valkyria at Saturday Night’s Main Event in July. This came amid multiple reports regarding her current WWE contract status.
It has been reported that the Role Model’s deal is set to expire towards the end of the year. Many have speculated that she could sign with rival promotion All Elite Wrestling to possibly reunite with her best friend, Mercedes Mone, and get a fresh direction in her career amid poor creative booking and a lackluster run.
Despite the rumor mill, Bayley did compete at a recent WWE live event, making her future uncertain. So, we will have to wait and watch if she will return to television as well, or leave the Stamford-based promotion for good.
