The following contains spoilers for the December 22 episode of WWE Raw, taped December 19 in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Becky Lynch's boycott of Monday Night Raw has officially ended — and it didn't go well for The Man.
Lynch had been absent from Raw since December 1 after launching a public campaign against the company following her Women's Intercontinental Championship loss to Maxxine Dupri. She demanded her title be returned, referee Jessika Carr be suspended, and an apology be issued, even claiming to have retained legal counsel.
On the December 22 episode, Lynch returned to cut a promo addressing the WWE Universe. Dupri interrupted and, according to those in attendance, delivered the best promo of her career. The verbal confrontation escalated into a physical altercation, ending with Dupri locking in her ankle lock submission and forcing Lynch to tap out once again.
The Man Humiliated Again
This marks the second time Dupri has submitted Lynch since winning the title at Madison Square Garden on November 17. Lynch also tapped out to AJ Lee's Black Widow during the Women's WarGames match at Survivor Series.
Following the segment, WWE announced that Dupri will defend the Women's Intercontinental Championship against Lynch on the January 5 episode of Raw — the first-anniversary show of Raw's move to Netflix.
