Former WWE Women's Champion Bianca Belair recently shared an update on her finger injury recovery on Instagram. 'The EST of WWE' has been on the sidelines since WrestleMania 41.
At the event, she sustained a broken knuckle during her triple threat match against Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY. Belair underwent surgery in February 2026 and is currently in rehab. She last appeared on WWE programming as a special guest referee at WWE Evolution in July 2025.
Bianca Belair Shares Update
In a recent Instagram post, Belair described the difficulties she's facing.
Most days after therapy this is what happens. My finger just stiffens back up. It feels like I’m constantly starting over and everything it’s painful. Every hour I’m trying to move it so eventually it won’t be this way. Also, trying to keep scar tissue from forming again," Belair said.

Bianca Belair Recovery Timeline
Belair began physical therapy immediately after surgery, starting with a 7 AM session on the first day. She also expressed gratitude to Dr. Desai, who performed the surgery.
The surgery is likely to rule Bianca Belair out of action for WrestleMania 42, which takes place on April 18-19 in Las Vegas. The recovery timeline seems to be two to four weeks for surgery, but three to six months for full grip strength. SummerSlam 2026 appears to be a more realistic event for her in-ring return.
SEScoops wishes Bianca Belair a full and speedy recovery.
