Blake Monroe has told Bayley to turn up on Friday, and Bayley has not said whether she will.
The exchange happened on X on Saturday. Monroe has been building a storyline around wanting her main roster in-ring debut to be for a world title, and Bayley replied to one of those posts with a single word.
OK
Monroe asked if that was all she had. Bayley answered.
maybe… maybe not
Monroe closed it out.
no one likes a tease, see u on Friday or don’t tweet me again
Bayley has not wrestled on television since losing to Lyra Valkyria at Saturday Night’s Main Event on July 18, when Valkyria beat her and put her through the ringside steps. Valkyria said on the following Raw that she had run Bayley out of the company. Bayley worked a couple of house shows after that and has been absent since.
She still has not signed a new contract. Dave Meltzer wrote in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE’s behaviour on television points one way.
As far as Bayley goes, the frequent mentions of her on Raw this week would indicate to me that they expect her back. If they believed she might be leaving, they would not mention her name.
Bayley marked ten years since her Raw debut in a post on August 22. She has also posted training footage soundtracked to a song called “All In,” and Mercedes Mone, asked by the Daily Star about facing her in AEW, said, “You never know.”
Monroe attacked Giulia during her entrance on Friday’s SmackDown rather than wrestle her, and has separately called out Chelsea Green.
