Booker T has confirmed he worked with Travis Scott in the ring, but he says the timing was never right for the rapper’s wrestling run.
The Rock said on The Pat McAfee Show in April 2025 that Scott would begin training with Booker. Asked about it on the Hall of Fame podcast, Booker confirmed the sessions took place.
But no, I was working with him.
He also confirmed that Scott shot his “4X4” music video in the ring at his Reality of Wrestling school in Houston. The song served as the theme for Raw after the show moved to Netflix in January 2025, until WWE replaced it in January 2026.
Booker said celebrities like Logan Paul and Bad Bunny have found success in wrestling, but the path does not suit everyone.
And a lot of times it’s for them. But it’s not for everybody.
He pointed to Scott’s schedule as the main obstacle.
I think with Travis Scott, this guy got so much work, man. He’s doing this, he’s doing that, he’s doing this, and then to try to do this, I think that’s what it was more than anything.
Booker said he only worked with Scott a couple of times. He pinned the outcome on Scott’s other commitments.
I just think timing put into this compared to every other project he had going on, as well as his music, I just don’t think the timing was right.
Scott played a key role in John Cena’s heel turn on Cody Rhodes at Elimination Chamber in March 2025. He was also part of the WrestleMania 41 main event, where Rhodes took him down in the ring.
