Cain Velasquez Planning Seminar After Parole Release


Cain Velasquez was recently released on parole on February 15th and he is planning to host a one-day Holotropic Breathing Seminar in the San Jose area. The former UFC star posted on Instagram regarding his release and plans for the seminar.

He has revealed that the seminar will include guided breathing, a mental/emotional reset, a meet-and-greet, a Q&A, and a group photo.

Velasquez wrote:

\"After my release on February 15th, I’m exploring the idea of hosting a one-day Holotropic Breathing Seminar in the San Jose area.\

He added that breathwork has been a powerful tool for him and he’d like to share it with others. The seminar would be a paid, limited-capacity event.

Breathwork has been a powerful tool for me — physically, mentally, and spiritually — and I’d like to share it with others in a focused, intentional setting.

Cain Velasquez\'s Legal Troubles

The two-time former UFC heavyweight champion was apprehended on February 22nd, 2022 in Santa Clara County, California. He was charged after being involved in a high-speed car chase while shooting into a vehicle that had Harry Goularte Jr. While Goularte wasn’t shot, his stepfather was.

In August 2024, Velasquez pleaded no contest to charges of attempted murder, felony assault with a firearm, and shooting at a motor vehicle. He was sentenced to five years in prison.

However, was eligible for parole after serving time, completing house arrest, and demonstrating good behavior. Velasquez still faces four years of supervised parole.

Cain Velasquez has had an illustrious MMA career spanning 13 years, primarily in UFC. He is a former two-time heavyweight champion. From 2019 to 2022, he also got involved in professional wrestling with WWE and later AAA in Mexico.
