Cam Skattebo is keeping the door wide open for a potential WWE career after his NFL days are done.
The running back appeared on Monday Night Raw at Madison Square Garden in November, where he had a brief confrontation with The Judgment Day alongside comedian Andrew Schultz.
In an interview with TMZ Sports, Skattebo discussed the possibility of transitioning to professional wrestling once his football career concludes.
There's a chance. I mean, I feel like I'm a pretty good actor. There's a chance there," Skattebo said. "There's a bunch of chances I feel like I can do something outside of football when I'm done playing. I'm not too sure where I'm going to go with that, but WWE is definitely an option.
Raw Appearance Draws Attention
Skattebo's Raw appearance at Madison Square Garden generated buzz, particularly because he was on the injured list at the time (dislocated ankle). The NFL star strongly defended the appearance, showing that he's serious about his love for wrestling.
The confrontation with The Judgment Day gave Skattebo a taste of what could be, should he decide to lace up a pair of boots.
Whether Skattebo ultimately pursues a wrestling career remains to be seen, but with so many athletes, influencers and celebrities flirting with a crossover to WWE, Skattebo would be one of the more intriguing cases.
