Carmelo Hayes is the newest member of 946.
Hayes ambushed Solo Sikoa with a tire iron at the end of Monday’s Raw in Bossier City, Louisiana. He removed a bandana to reveal himself, then helped the group lay out Sikoa and The Usos to close the show. WWE confirmed on X that Hayes has joined 946.
The attack came during a six-man tag pitting Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso and Sikoa against Royce Keys, Bronco Nima and Lucien Price. It was 946’s in-ring debut.
The match broke down quickly. Jaida Parker pulled the referee out of the ring and sent him over the barricade. The fight spilled into the crowd, where Jey hit a crossbody from the stands and Parker answered with one of her own.
Sikoa drove Keys through an announce table with a Samoan drop and hit a frog splash in the ring. He was set for the Samoan Spike when Hayes struck from behind.
Hayes kept swinging after Keys hit Sikoa with a spinebuster. Nima and Price held Jimmy and Jey in place as Hayes attacked each of them with the weapon. The show ended with Hayes standing with the group over all three men.
946 debuted with Keys on the Aug. 24 Raw. The group kidnapped Sikoa on Sept. 21. Parker joined on Sept. 28, when she ran over Jacob Fatu with a car in the arena parking lot.
Hayes had been a SmackDown regular. He lost the United States Championship to Sami Zayn in March and was left off both WrestleMania 42 and SummerSlam.
