Chelsea Green has revealed how her recent viral moment came about.
The Women's US Champion recently spoke to Chris Van Vliet for a new interview. Among other things, she was asked about her video with Ethan Page that recently went viral after the November 4 episode of NXT.
The show saw Joe Hendry crashing a celebration of Green and Page, with Thea Hail smearing both of them with cream. Chelsea did a backstage video after the episode where she claimed that she had 'never been creamed on like this before' and the whole thing became a social media hit.

Revealing how the video came about, Chelsea Green noted that it was something that she came up with on the spot. The current AAA Mixed Tag Champion claimed that she was shocked that the company decided to post the whole thing.
Though she later mentioned that she probably shouldn't be surprised since the officials have done similar things with Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio before:
“Actually, that just came off the top of my head. No, I can’t believe they posted that. I am shocked. I came back from the creaming, I said it, and I was like, ‘Okay, do we need to redo that?’
And he was like, ‘No, I’m gonna post it.’ I’m like, what?!" Ethan was like, ‘No, no, please God no!’ The things that I make that man do, oh my gosh. God bless him. But yeah, then they posted it, and it went viral. I was shocked."
Chelsea Green also talked about her pairing with Ethan Page, saying that she doesn't know who came up with the idea.
The WWE star revealed that she wasn't aware of Page's work before their partnership and had to google the NXT star when she was told they'll be working together. Though Green noted that she became a fan of the NXT North American Champion the first time she saw her promo.
