Chelsea Green revealed that WWE CCO Triple H compared her to two of the top names in the company’s history.
They are none other than former WWE stars, Kofi Kingston and Bryan Danielson. In an interview with Complex Graps Wrestling Podcast, the new WWE Women’s Champion said that Triple H and many others compared her rise as a top star to names like Kofi Kingston and Daniel Bryan, and she was honored to be mentioned among those names.
I would be so narcissistic to be comparing myself to somebody so incredible. But of course once the world told me that, and actually, Triple H pulled me aside and told me that. He compared me to the likes of Daniel Bryan and Kofi. I was like, ‘Wow, what an amazing group to be put into.
Chelsea Green has had a ride full of ups and downs. From being fired by the company in the late 2010s to rising as one of the most captivating and popular names today, Green has seen it all.
The Hot Mess created history by becoming the first-ever WWE Women’s United States Champion in December 2024. Most recently, she reached the pinnacle of the women’s division at SummerSlam 2026. At Night 2 of the show, she outlasted four top women in a ladder match and became the Interim WWE Women’s Champion, to a loud ovation.
With Green now at the top of the SmackDown women’s division, it will be interesting to see her first World title reign on television.
