The January 20 episode of WWE RAW took place at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas and saw the red brand continue on the road to the Royal Rumble. With the event set for February 1, in Indianapolis, CM Punk laid out his goals for the upcoming PLE.
During the second hour of RAW, CM Punk joined Jackie Redmond for an interview. Punk called himself a history maker, highlighting that he headlined the first-ever RAW on Netflix. Punk stressed the importance of staying relevant, stating, \”It’s all about what have you done for me lately,\” and assured the audience that he continues to prove himself.
He acknowledged the high stakes and pressure leading up to the Royal Rumble, adding that he thrives in such moments and believes nobody can beat him when he’s at his best.
Looking ahead to the Royal Rumble, Punk confidently stated that he “can’t see” John Cena eliminating him from the match. He also took a shot at Roman Reigns, claiming the \”OTC\” needed him at WarGames. Not finished, Punk made a bold claim about Hulk Hogan should the controversial Hall of Famer enter the Royal Rumble.

Punk\’s comment got a loud cheer from the crowd, another sign that wrestling fans are tired of Hogan, who was resoundingly booed at his last appearance. As for Punk, he aims to win his first Royal Rumble match, a victory that\’d bring him one step closer to his dream of headlining WrestleMania.
