CM Punk‘s Undisputed WWE Title reign came to an end in Mexico City and sent out a message after that.
The Best in the World defended his title against Sami Zayn in the main event of the September 11 episode of SmackDown. The captivating bout ended with interference from stars like Kevin Owens and Johnny Gargano, and Zayn resorted to underhanded tactics to beat Punk and regain the title.
Following that, Punk took to his Instagram stories to break his silence. He reflected on his 67-day title reign, competing for the most passionate fans across countries, and vowed to win back the Undisputed title. You can check out his message below:
I lost. 67 day undisputed title run. At 47. I’d like to say I did it on purpose for my boy @wwejevonevans but nobody wants to lose. Here’s the thing: Winners lose way more than losers do. I don’t have to try again. I get to try again. I didn’t have to come to Mexico. I don’t HAVE to do house house shows. I get to. I get to wrestle in front of the best fans in the world in Guadalajara, Monterrey and Mexico City. I don’t have to get the title back. I get to trry to get the title back. I don’t HAVE to come to work. I GET TO COME TO WORK. So I’ll see you all in Corpus Christi. I will get MY title back. You don’t have to watch. You get to.

CM Punk returned after a lengthy hiatus in July and defeated Sami Zayn to become the Undisputed WWE Champion. He had a spectacular reign, defeating the likes of Johnny Gargano, Cody Rhodes, and Kevin Owens before falling to Sami Zayn in Mexico City.
With the Second City Saint still laser-focused on getting back his title even after a crushing defeat, we will have to wait and see what he does next.
