WWE has mapped out CM Punk’s next three months, and one date on it is doing more work than the other twenty.
The company released a CM Punk 20 Years routing that runs from SmackDown in Boston on August 14 through SmackDown in Charleston, West Virginia on October 30. It covers television, the Summer Tour loop through Canada and Mexico, an NXT live event in Petersburg, Virginia on August 15, and Sunday Night’s Main Event in Atlanta on September 6.
Then there is September 26 in Chicago.
Punk is booked for Worlds Collide at the Allstate Arena, the second WWE and AAA crossover show, in his hometown. AEW runs All Out the same night at the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, roughly eighteen miles away.
Punk has been openly interested in the AAA side of it. Speaking to Ringside Collectibles at San Diego Comic-Con last month, he floated getting involved.
So it might be the perfect time for me to kind of dip my toe in the AAA pool. I’ve worn a mask before. I’ve gotten my head shaved in a mask versus hair match before. We can set the table and we can do it all over again in 2026.
On a Comic-Con panel he went further and fantasy booked himself against Dominik Mysterio for the AAA Mega Championship, asking whether Dominik needed an opponent.
Punk has been Undisputed WWE Champion since taking the title from Sami Zayn at the Allstate Arena on July 6. He defends against Kevin Owens on television.
