CM Punk is not easing into his Undisputed WWE Championship reign. Per his own social media, the newly crowned Undisputed WWE Champion has been booked for every WWE house show through the end of August, a road schedule that will test whether he can sustain a full-time run after months away.
Punk returned on Raw this week and defeated Sami Zayn to capture the title, then confirmed on his Instagram Stories that he will work all 13 house show dates scheduled between now and the end of August.
He is also advertised for every upcoming SmackDown now that he holds the brand’s top championship.
That is a heavy workload, especially for a wrestler who had been away since the Raw after WrestleMania 42. Punk lost the World Heavyweight Championship to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania before wasting no time getting back to gold against Zayn.

WWE has revealed its live event schedule again this summer to get more talent, especially younger ones on the road. Punk is a major name to sell tickets while keeping its current Undisputed WWE Champion in front of live crowds every week.
What’s Next For CM Punk
Punk’s next big stop could be SummerSlam in Minneapolis this August. The current plan is believed to be a program against Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship, which would put Punk right back in one of the promotion’s marquee matches of the year.
Details on the original Cody Rhodes vs. CM Punk plans have already surfaced.
The title change also left Zayn stewing, as seen when Sami Zayn unloaded on CM Punk in an explosive rant after losing the championship. For now, Punk is back, he has the gold, and WWE is clearly putting him to work.
