Cody Rhodes says there’s no bad blood with Travis Scott.
Rhodes appeared on Complex’s Sneaker Shopping and was asked about Scott’s sneakers. Rhodes had previously joked there were “no more Travis Scotts in the house” after their WWE run.
He said his wife, Brandi, still wore her pair. Then he brought up the slap.
Well, the Travis Scott of it all, the pair that Brandi did wear those. And I don’t think she gave a damn that he’s put the big old slap… I don’t even know what we’d call his hand. It was like a frying pan. He’s got a big hand.
And I… no, there was never, never any heat. We love Travis Scott.
Scott slapped Rhodes at Elimination Chamber 2025 during the angle with John Cena and The Rock. Rhodes later confirmed the shot busted his eardrum. Scott also got involved in Rhodes’ WrestleMania 41 loss to Cena, pulling the referee out of the ring before eating a Cross Rhodes.
Rhodes admitted Scott’s shoes were benched at home for a while.
But they were… they were, I think, shunned a little bit, you know, put them on ice for a little bit. But they’re great. I mean, these right here, right? It’s a great kick. You can’t deny it.
He also said he would welcome Scott back.
Yeah, I’d like to see Travis Scott back doing something with WWE. He’s wonderful.
