Dallas Edwards, the Ohio Valley Wrestling referee who suffered a seizure during a match earlier this month, is back home continuing his recovery.
The incident occurred on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at Davis Arena in Louisville, Kentucky. Edwards suffered a concussion and subdural hematoma.
Edwards was injured after taking a flying forearm during a Four Corners of Chaos match. He hit the mat hard and appeared to have a seizure, but the match continued briefly.
Edwards released a statement on social media on Friday, March 13, 2026, confirming that he suffered a concussion and a subdural hematoma and would be taking time away to recover.
OVW to Review Safety Protocols
Al Snow released a statement on Saturday, March 14, 2026, stating that OVW will review and update in-ring and ringside safety protocols. These updates will include enhanced communication systems, additional referee training, and expanded ringside response measures.
According to Edwards, he suffered "that he suffered a concussion and a subdural hematoma and would be taking some time away to get his health and life back in order."
Edwards was expected to go home after a morning CT scan on Saturday. As of March 17, 2026, he is recovering at home. No further updates have been released.
