Ex-Day Care Director Accused of Embezzling Millions For WWE Tickets

Embezzling money for WWE tickets?

Murielle Misczak, the former director of KinderHaus Brooklyn, was arrested on charges of embezzlement this Wednesday. She has been accused of stealing $2.8 million from the expensive German-language immersion day care by routing tuition deposits to her own PayPal accounts.

According to a story from New York Times, Misczak has been accused of spending the stolen money to fund luxury vacations, food deliveries, as well as pro wrestling tickets:

Using at least $350,000 of the stolen funds, Ms. Misczak took her three children to World Wrestling Entertainment events, buying tickets for deluxe packages where they met professional wrestlers at outings like 'Monday Night Raw,' according to a person familiar with the case who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss a law enforcement matter.

Joining the day care in 2013, Murielle Misczak became the director of the institute in 2020. In her position, she was responsible for overseeing the school's financial accounts, and managed its tuition collection.

The founder of KinderHaus, Simona D’Souza, became aware of the anomalies in October 2025, after which she fired Ms. Misczak and sued her in December in the State Supreme Court in Brooklyn.

Though Ms. Misczak has pleaded not guilty to the charges and her lawyer, Lowell J. Sidney, said in a statement that he was 'reviewing the government’s evidence.'
