Eddie Osbourne, a longtime Canadian independent wrestler, trainer and promoter, has died. Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling announced his passing on Thursday, and the tribute graphic posted with the announcement lists his years as 1983 to 2026.

Maple Leaf Pro said it joins the Canadian wrestling community in mourning him, describing Osbourne as “a veteran inside the ring, trainer, and a longtime promoter.” The company sent its condolences to his family, friends and fans.

The announcement does not give a cause of death or any arrangements, and no further details have been confirmed. We will update this story if more information is released.

Osbourne built his name on the Ontario independent scene. In past SLAM! Wrestling coverage, he said he spent the first 17 years of his life in Campbell River, British Columbia, before moving to Southern Ontario to train. SLAM! also profiled him as the promoter of Pure Wrestling Association shows in both Ontario and British Columbia.

SEScoops extends its condolences to Osbourne’s family, friends and everyone in the Canadian wrestling community.
