Fatal Influence are the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid defeated Paige and Brie Bella (c) at Saturday Night’s Main Event on Saturday, July 18, 2026, dethroning the champions inside Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Jacy Jayne made the difference. The Fatal Influence leader was ringside all night and inserted herself into the closing stretch, cutting off the champions before Henley and Reid took the belts in 7:13.
The finish was anything but clean. Reid missed a running knee, Jayne interfered on back-to-back near falls, and Fatal Influence sealed the title change with a rollup and a handful of tights while the referee was screened.
Paige and Brie Bella won the titles at WrestleMania 42, the night of Paige’s WWE return, and had turned back four straight sets of challengers heading into New York. That run included wins over The Irresistible Forces, Bayley and Lyra Valkyria, and Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez.
Fatal Influence shifted to SmackDown earlier in 2026 and quickly set their sights on the champions, laying them out in a June ambush that put the title match in motion.
The win gives Henley and Reid their first WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship, and a signature moment for Fatal Influence’s newest member, Lainey Reid.
