A former WWE superstar has completely ruled out a return to the ring.
She is none other than Celeste Bonin, formerly known as Kaitlyn. In a recent appearance on INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet, the former WWE Divas Champion outright said that she has no plans to get back in the ring. Despite that, Kaitlyn still held professional wrestling in high regard and said she would always love it.
I hope no one hates me for this, but I don’t really want to get back in the ring. I respect wrestling a lot, and I find it very entertaining. I love the artistry of it. I don’t think I could ever have the appreciation that I have now if I had never been a professional wrestler. It’s such a beautiful art form, so I will always love it and deeply respect it.
Furthermore, Kaitlyn also added that she occasionally watches some of her friends’ matches, but at the same time, has no burning desire to wrestle herself again.
I don’t really watch it, but occasionally I will if there’s someone that I’m still friends with or that I love. Occasionally I’ll watch a match, but I don’t know. I don’t think I am gonna get back in the ring because I don’t have this burning desire to do that.
Kaitlyn was a part of the WWE women’s division in the early 2010s. Her most notable rivalry was with AJ Lee over the Divas Championship. The duo competed side by side and against each other on numerous occasions. In 2014, she requested her release from WWE and left to return to the fitness industry.
As Kaitlyn continues to excel outside wrestling today, it will be interesting to see what the future holds for her.
