A resurfaced clip of former WWE interviewer Kayla Becker has stirred up backlash online after she offered some pointed criticism of Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman.
In the clip, Becker reflected on her years covering the Bloodline storyline, saying she regularly had to deal with Reigns brushing off any question she asked that required real thought. She had similarly sharp words for Heyman, her frequent on-screen sparring partner during that stretch of programming.
I was a part of the Bloodline story for the better part of three or four years, so I had to deal with Roman Reigns all the time. He just blows you off anytime you ask him an intelligent question just like a man would. That’s what I have to say about Roman Reigns and his little sidekick. Paul Heyman can get it too.
The comments didn’t sit well with several fans, who called them disrespectful toward Reigns, Heyman, and WWE more broadly.

Becker addressed the backlash directly on X, pointing out the clip was actually filmed over a year earlier and gently ribbing anyone just now discovering that wrestling storylines aren’t real. She made clear she stands by what she said, though the sarcastic emoji she attached suggested she wasn’t taking the whole situation too seriously.
Guys. Couple things. This was filmed over a year ago. And if you’re still finding out wrestling isn’t real from this clip, I’m sorry your school system failed you.

When some fans continued pushing back in her replies, Becker kept the same lighthearted tone, simply thanking them for the engagement rather than escalating further.
