Goldberg Calls Out Triple H Over Disrespectful WWE Sendoff

Goldberg has fired back at WWE and Triple H over how his retirement sendoff was handled, expressing his frustration during a recent fan meet-and-greet.

During a recent meet-and-greet (via Pop the Chain) over the weekend, a fan confronted Goldberg about the moment his microphone was cut off while giving his farewell speech after his retirement match. The interaction quickly escalated as both the fan and Goldberg expressed their displeasure with WWE's handling of the moment.

"You know what pissed me off? When WWE cut off your mic at your final match," the fan said, clearly still frustrated with how Goldberg's sendoff was handled.

Goldberg's Sarcastic Response

Goldberg didn't hold back with his response, delivering a sarcastic reaction that made it clear he remains upset about the situation.

Yeah! What do you think it did for me? It made me really happy. It shows what disrespect they have for me," Goldberg said.

The conversation then turned toward who might have been responsible for the decision to cut his microphone. When the fan asked if Triple H was behind it, Goldberg's response was telling.

Triple H Called Out

"What jackass was it? Was it Triple H who did that?" the fan asked.

Goldberg's answer didn't defend anyone as he simply said, "Probably."

When the fan doubled down with another shot at Triple H, calling him "a jackass," Goldberg backed up the sentiment without hesitation, responding "100%."

The ongoing tension between Goldberg and WWE management is real. Whether or not he makes another pro wrestling appearance remains to be seen, but he's not the good will ambassador that WWE seeks from its retired legends.
