Elegance Brand Opens Up About 'Surreal' TNA Knockouts Tag Titles Win

The Elegance Brand certainly made their mark on the first episode of TNA Wrestling’s Thursday Night iMPACT! on AMC. M by Elegance and Heather by Elegance dethroned the IInspiration to secure the Knockouts Tag Team Championship.

It’s always so surreal to me. Just being part of TNA in general is already surreal to me,” Heather said. “Now the AMC stuff. I love so many shows AMC produces and now we get to be there. And on our debut we won the titles against IInspiraiton, it blows my mind. I feel really grateful. That night I was nervous, but I felt locked in. It was time to go.

The fact they defeated Jessie McKay and Cassie Lee in their last match with the company is also not lost on M. “It was a bunch of moments in one night. The emotions were high. The energy in the building was high,” she recalled.

The Elegance Brand Get Candid About TNA Wrestling Experience

This emerging duo gives credit to their mentor Ash by Elegance for helping them grow and evolve. The former Knockouts Champ built the group from the ground up recruiting the two to be part of her faction.

She is so selfless. She has helped us both,” Heather said. “When we were in California, she even took us to the beach and showed us around town. She just welcomed us with open arms. We just bonded in that way. We already knew each other before then too. We’re on a different level now. We’re mind-readers. We have Elegance telepathy.”

M tells a story that encapsulates their bond where Ash ribbed an Uber driver. It was an example of the fun they have together.

Ash usually will get our Ubers, and we all get in and the Uber driver will ask what we are doing at the building or what building we are going to or doing there,” M recalled. “She said she was training dolphins. She was hosting a dolphin seminar, and she was teaching us how to train the dolphins.

Heather added, “She didn’t tell us this either. I felt like she was just trying to pop us. She had this whole story of being a dolphin trainer where she gets up on their nose and how to practice in the bath tub by plugging your nose.”

As a villainous group, that oftentimes leads to not the nicest comments on social media. They managed this aspect of the business well. “I’m desensitized by it now. It doesn’t bother me at all,” Heather said.

The champs recall trolls in their comments calling them everything from shrimp and giraffe to Big Bird and gnome to the “Elephant Brand.” For M, it’s all a part of the job.

I love it. Love us or hate us, we don’t care,” she said.

A topic of the Elegance Brand group chat also includes brainstorming ideas for dressing. They love a good theme, whether it’s a holiday or channeling Breaking Bad. M says Heather is usually the design eye when it comes to their makeshift gears.

The way I see it is like the Met Gala that always has the theme,” Heather said. “I want to do themes. It’s fun too. We get to do different stuff. It’s not always the same.

The pair reveal they almost did The Walking Dead spirited ensembles. However, due to working with Perez Hilton led them to go the more showgirl, movie theater premiere route. Though the title holders don’t rule out seeing the popular zombie universe represented.

Heather describes TNA as a big family that works well together.

I  love everybody, honestly,” she declared. “Everyone always says there is no locker room like TNA,” M added. “Obviously, I don't really know any other locker room, but being in the TNA locker room I can see why they’re saying what they’re saying.
