A former WWE superstar has faced major accusations from a woman claiming they were in a relationship.
He is the popular Indian wrestler Saurav Gurjar. According to an update by Hindustan Times, a 29-year-old woman accused Saurav of making false promises and sexually exploiting her. She said the WWE star promised to settle down with her, then disappeared without a trace.
Furthermore, the woman also said that she suffered a lot of harassment. She even revealed that she left her employment in the United States to stay with Saurav.
During the course of our relationship, the accused disclosed that he was already married. He repeatedly promised to give me wife-like rights and eventually settle down with me. He used to block me on the phone/social media and disappear without any prior information. I suffered mental harassment, emotional distress and financial loss, including losing my job after I left my employment in the US to stay with him.
Moreover, the report said they lived together from October 2025 to March 2026 before Saurav Gurjar cut all connections with the accuser. Under Section 69 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, a case of sexual intercourse under a false promise pretext has been registered against Gurjar.
The former WWE superstar was detained at Mumbai airport and later taken to Hyderabad, where he was put in judicial custody for 14 days. The Gachibowli police filed the case against him.
With serious accusations arising against him, we will wait to see if Saurav Gurjar issues a statement.
