Fake WWE Statement On Jacob Fatu’s Fine & Apology Surfaces Online

ByStuart TaraProfessional Wrestling Journalist

A fake WWE announcement involving Jacob Fatu has been making the rounds online, but the reality behind the viral post is very different.

An Instagram account called Highspot Podcast shared a graphic presented as an official WWE statement, claiming Fatu had been disciplined and fined following his recent RAW outburst. However, WWE never released that statement, and there has been no official announcement confirming a fine or apology.

The actual incident took place during the RAW taping. After getting involved in a confrontation featuring The Usos, Royce Keys and OTM, Fatu climbed onto the announce table and delivered an uncensored message to the crowd:

I’m about to dog walk all three of you mother*****s”.

WWE immediately cut his microphone at the taping. When the segment aired, the company censored the profanity and appeared to shorten part of the announce-table sequence.

That, however, is where the confirmed response ends. There is no evidence that WWE publicly fined Fatu, forced him to apologize, or issued the statement now circulating online.

The fabricated graphic still attracted thousands of likes and hundreds of comments, showing how quickly false wrestling stories can gain traction when they are designed to look like legitimate company announcements.
