Triple H told Jade Cargill that her work is just starting after her title win.
The current Women's World Champion spoke to Brad Gilmore recently to promote WrestleMania 42 from Las Vegas. The female star discussed things such as what Mania means to her, how far in advance she plans her wrestling gears and more.
During the talk, the former AEW star also discussed winning her first singles title in WWE last month. She revealed that Triple H was not in the building that night, but The Game gave her valuable advice when he finally saw her:
He actually wasn’t there that day. He wasn’t there that day, but that following Friday we did, he was just telling me how proud he was of me and how much I’ve grown in this company and that the hard work is just starting. So he was just proud of me, told me that, you know, I worked so hard to get here, but now the hard work really starts.
Jade Cargill made her wrestling debut for AEW back in 2021. She went on to become the Inaugural AEW TBS Champion and had a lengthy run with the title that established her as a star in the industry.
She has had a couple of runs with the tag team titles after leaving AEW for WWE in 2023. Cargill finally won her first singles title in the Endeavor-owned promotion, defeating Tiffany Stratton at Saturday Night's Main Event on November 1.
