Je'Von Evans' red-hot start to life on WWE's main roster came to an abrupt halt Monday night when the 21-year-old suffered an apparent shoulder injury during his match against El Grande Americano on Raw in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

The injury occurred during a commercial break after Evans had been executing his signature high-flying offense, including leaping from the barricade to the steel steps. When Raw returned from break, Evans was being evaluated at ringside by WWE's medical team.
Match Stoppage Due to Injury
Referee Jessika Carr called for the bell moments later, with ring announcer Mark Nash confirming Evans was unable to continue. El Grande Americano was declared the winner via injury forfeit.
Evans was helped to the back while visibly holding his right shoulder.
The timing couldn't be worse for "The Young OG." Evans officially signed with the Raw brand just two weeks ago at the Raw on Netflix Anniversary Show on January 5, and this was only his second official match on the roster. He had been riding a winning streak with victories over The Miz, Pete Dunne (Rayo Americano), and Tyler Bate (Bravo Americano).
WWE had reportedly planned for Evans to compete in the 2026 Royal Rumble match on January 31. A significant injury could also jeopardize his first WrestleMania appearance at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas.
Just days ago, Logan Paul called Evans "the future of WWE" after watching his in-ring performance on Raw.
WWE has not yet provided an official update on Evans' condition.
