Jim Ross has finally addressed racism allegations made by D-Von Dudley in October 2025, calling the claims "absurd" during the December 25th edition of his Grilling JR podcast.
D-Von previously stated he experienced racism from "certain top officials" in WWE, specifically naming Jim Ross and alleging JR said, "I don't like you because of the color of your skin."
When co-host Conrad Thompson played a clip of D-Von's comments and gave JR a chance to respond, the WWE Hall of Famer categorically denied the allegation.
That's so absurd, it doesn't merit a response," Ross stated. "I never said that to D-Von Dudley. And why he would conjure up that — I guess to get attention. Maybe he's not as happy with his post-wrestling life as Bubba is.
JR emphasized his respect for The Dudley Boyz, noting he hired the team and helped book their legendary TLC matches.
I like D-Von. I like him today. I hired he and Bubba. I thought we did a good job of booking them. They made money," Ross explained.
Despite the denial, Ross said he holds no anger toward D-Von: "I'm not angry at D-Von. I'm just curious and don't understand why he went there. I just don't get it."
