WWE commentator Joe Tessitore has been announced as the play-by-play announcer for Zuffa Boxing's first numbered event.
The promotion, under TKO Group Holdings, will host Zuffa Boxing 01 on January 23, 2026, at the UFC Apex. The event streams live on Paramount+.

Zuffa Boxing Twitter announced the broadcast team, confirming Tessitore's role alongside fight analysts Max Kellerman, Andre Ward, Antonio Tarver, and Mike Coppinger. Mark Kriegel and Skipper Kelp join as additional analysts, with Joe Martinez as ring announcer, Molly Querim as host, and Heidi Androl providing reporting.

Tessitore joined WWE in July 2024 after a long tenure at ESPN, where he called boxing, college football, and other events. His addition highlights cross-promotional ties between WWE, TKO, and Zuffa Boxing.
Zuffa Boxing follows its hosting of the Canelo Alvarez vs. Terence Crawford card in September 2025. This debut event marks a new venture in the boxing landscape under TKO's umbrella.
