John Cena Performs His WWE Entrance Theme On UK Radio

John Cena hasn’t wrestled since last December. He’s still performing “The Time Is Now.”

The 17-time world champion performed his WWE entrance theme during a visit to UK radio station Capital. He stopped by to promote “Matchbox: The Movie.” Capital shared video of the performance on Instagram.

The song opened “You Can’t See Me,” the 2005 album Cena recorded with his cousin Marc Predka, known as Tha Trademarc. The album peaked at No. 15 on the Billboard 200.

“The Time Is Now” first played as Cena’s entrance music on the March 17, 2005, episode of SmackDown. It stayed with him for the rest of his career, including his final match against Gunther at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

“Matchbox: The Movie” debuted on Apple TV on October 9. Sam Hargrave directed the film. Cena plays Sean Walker, a former soldier turned spy who reunites with his childhood friends.

Cena previously revealed that he signed on to star in “Matchbox” before a script existed.
