John Cena's First Post-Retirement Public Appearance Announced

John Cena's first public appearance following his WWE retirement has been announced.

The 17-time World Champion will appear at Fan Expo New Orleans on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. The event marks Cena's first scheduled fan appearance since his final match on December 13, 2025, when he lost to Gunther at Saturday Night's Main Event, ending his legendary 23-year in-ring career.

Fan Expo is offering multiple ticket tiers for Cena's appearance. General admission to "John Cena Live" is free on a first-come, first-served basis, while Gold ($69) and Silver ($39) tickets guarantee priority seating.

Backstage with John Cena

For fans seeking a premium experience, the "Ultimate Backstage John Cena Experience" is priced at $799.99 and includes reserved front-row seating, a fully loaded autograph with quote and character name, a one-on-one selfie with Cena, and a limited edition lanyard.

Standard photo ops start at $179, while autographs begin at $149.

While Cena has officially hung up his boots, he recently signed a five-year ambassador contract with WWE, transitioning into a mentorship role with the company. The New Orleans appearance signals the beginning of his post-wrestling chapter engaging with fans outside the ring.

Fan Expo New Orleans runs January 9-11, 2026.
