Karl Anderson has confirmed that he recently underwent surgery and is now beginning his journey to recovery. In an Instagram post, Anderson shared a photo from his hospital bed, hooked up to cardiac monitoring equipment.
The WWE star expressed gratitude for Dr. Dugas, the surgeon who performed the procedure, writing in the caption:
"Thanks to Dr. Dugas in Birmingham, Alabama, for fixing me. See you after #WrestleMania ? #WWE #wweraw. Details on this week’s #TalkNShop dropping Thursday a.m. Link in bio @talknshoppodcast. Monday Night Raw tonight! @wwe."
Anderson, who forms one-half of the tag team known as The OC alongside Luke Gallows, has been absent from television since the September 24th episode of NXT, where they lost to Hank Walker and Tank Ledger. The duo also participated in a dark match at an NXT event in Chicago the following week.
