In a new episode of The 2 Count on YouTube, former WWE personality Jonathan Coachman gave his thoughts on topics such as the $10,000 Cody Rhodes bus tour, Toni Storm taking time off from AEW, the build to WrestleMania 42, and more.
During the talk, the former commentator revealed an interesting titbit about Kim Kardashian's WrestleMania appearance in 2008. Jonathan Coachman claimed that Kardashian, who served as the hostess for the PPV, was paid $25,000 for her appearance:
2008, my last WrestleMania, Kim Kardashian was just becoming big. I remember we paid her $25,000 to come out at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando and announce the attendance. Do you know that she could not remember the number and had to write it on a card?
WrestleMania XXIV was headlined by Undertaker and Edge in a singles match, with The Dead Man expanding his streak to 16-0 by defeating the Ultimate Opportunist. Apart from Kardashian, the event saw appearances from other non-wrestling names such as Floyd Mayweather and Snoop Dogg.
The show also featured the famous match between Shawn Michaels and Ric Flair, as well as Umaga's final Mania appearance before his passing in 2009.
