Lacey Evans has replied to Becky Lynch.

During a recent appearance on Something’s Burning podcast, Lynch had shared her thoughts on this feud. The former champion questioned the decision to put her in a program with Evans after the biggest match of her career, when Lacey had only wrestled 4 matches on the main roster before their first encounter:

I start working with Lacey Evans right out the gate (after WrestleMania 35). God bless her, but she wasn't, you know... For me to go from the main event of WrestleMania to somebody who hadn't done anything, was terrible.

Lacey Evans Fires Back

The former WWE star, real name Macey Estrella-Kadlec, responded to this quote from her former rival on Twitter. She questioned Becky never raising the issue with her at the time, and suggested that the former IC Champion will not have the guts to say this to her face even today:

Dont hate the player. Hate the game. The only person who *shoot cried more than you was the baby I had on my hip while taking all the opportunities. If/when I come back.....you will STILL do nothing but gently shake my hand and say "how cute my little family is" backstage.

Lacey Evans would remain part of the WWE roster for 4 more years. She left the company in August 2023, and has not wrestled ever since.
